Very seldom that a laptop video can be upgraded. It depends on your motherboard. Mostly they are are built-in on board (soldered).

Is it damage or you just want to upgrade it?

Check your laptop on internet if video can be upgraded.

Sometimes they can be upgraded. I have done a couple. But Myk is right, you should check first. It may or may not be possible. If Toshiba says it's possible and you have the correct video card that will work, all you would have to do is download the drivers.
