@drAdeLante - from now on when you create a thread in both sections with a application which is compatible with OS 9.x and OS 9.4 please DO NOT upload the attachment again.
On the 2nd thread just post the description, screenshot etc etc BUT do not upload the application JUST post a direct download link on the application first posted/attachment uploaded as I done now in your thread.

BOLT is a free downloadable browser that offers an uncompromised browsing experience on even lower-end mobile phones.

Rather than offering a simplified, mini version of the Internet, BOLT provides users with a fast, efficient, feature-rich way to enjoy full PC-style web pages and rich media applications on all levels of mobile devices.

Built on Bitstream's ThunderHawk browsing technology, BOLT is the result of 5+ years experience developing mobile browsers that optimize usability, speed and performance on resource-constrained systems with limited memory, processing power and screen space.

We are proud to announce that we’re officially dropping the beta tag with today’s release of BOLT 1.5. New features include viewing videos of any length, a dedicated search bar, a download manager that downloads files directly from BOLT, improved navigation and text rendering, and caching support. Version 1.5 includes a host of new features designed to improve usability and stability, including:

* Server upgrades (make v1.5 more than 15% faster than Beta3)
* Cache support that enables directly browsing back to a previously visited page
* Download manager that downloads files directly within BOLT on JSR 75 capable devices
* Dedicated search bar, enabling search on popular search engines directly from BOLT
* Enhanced column width control that auto-aligns the text to columns for ease of reading
* Enhanced video support that includes inline media playing capability even on low-end devices
* Enhanced copy-paste support for BlackBerry devices
* Support for streaming videos of any length
* Volume UP/DOWN controls in the inline media player
* Ability to rearrange the subscribed feeds using the 'grab' feature
* Access to History links from the URL window with inline editing OFF
* One click access on Home Page that ensures the cursor jumps to the desired widget

Bitstream the company behind the Bolt Mobile Browser has released the 2.1 version of it’s BOLT Browser which was in a Beta for sometime. What’s cool is that the company is claiming that the browser has the best mobile browser video support. If that’s true then its some serious competition for Skyfire. This version has HTML5 Video support in addition to Flash. Bollywood sites such as hungama and bollywoodhungama are supported.

As you can see in the Screenshots below Video playback is possible and even FacebookChat is supposed to work

whats the difference between the full and the lite version??

Davescot
15th July 2010, 21:32
Copied from Bolt FAQ

BOLT lite was created in response to user requests, to allow BOLT to run on resource-constrained mobile devices with limited memory, CPU power, and bandwidth. While not as feature-rich as the regular version, BOLT lite features a small footprint (~154 KB) while retaining the benefits of BOLT's client/server technology, resulting in extremely fast downloading of Web site content and reduced data cost.

BOLT lite requires MIDP 2.0 and CLDC 1.0 or higher support.

Goto settings>application manager>installed applications>, then click bolt (once to highlight), click options>suite settings, then turn on-screen keyboard off. This is a basic setup settings for jar application installed in s60 phone to enable/disable on-screen keyboard.
