Im+ for 9.1 doesnt work right on 5800. There is one special version for 5800. But noone wants to crack it. apparently our BInPda friends are not interested in symbian 9.4.;)

I've tried smartguard 2.0 by binpda and illusion however it is not working well for my XM5800.. At 1st u will manage to hide stuff and contacts but subsequently if u try to restore it ur phone will hang..

Then i've tried Best Crypto V2.0 and it is working 100% with 5800. I did not see any error while using it and worked flawlessly. It does not even need me to sign the application.

If the mod would not mind I've attached the small file for other members to use it too..

Best FSMessage from Smartphoneware works PERFECTLY. Have you seen how, when a message arrives, the 5800's screen doesnt unlock, and you have to unlock it, then click the stupid 'new message' box to get to the message? Well this software displays your message right on the screen (but you still have to unlock it), and you get options to reply etc right there. No need to go into messaging menu.

Here are the errors, I noticed for 5800 -

1. Once the drive is mapped, the scroll bar does not work. I have to hold down for the folders to scroll.
2. MP3's are not working. I am getting "Buffer Overflow" error. Any one has success playing mp3's ? I am on v11 firmware.

Try the latest version of Totalrecall V3.21... I am using this piece of software and it is working really good... No Beep and the playback sound is loud too...:D

I just choose the first x in the 2 options upon installation n viola, it's working. Full version, no trial. Oh and I also had to sign it first.

Mobipocket Reader works well, but you need VirtualKey if you want to use the options menu in fullscreen mode. Most of the time you don't need that, if you just want to read.

ultimate vr 5.05(1) works with nokia 5800 xmwith charm. but only one small prob. u cant play the galarey, if u need to play it u can use xplore and then go to the data folder and open the recorded files.

One good program to backup your call/data record is Log Export and it works perfect on s60/v5. I used it after signing!

you need to create your own gdd, one thing you can try is if the Vista gdd was created with different version of Gdesk try to install that version and see if this help

You should try the latest 5.00.40, it works fine...so far I don't have any interruption such as hanged.... only it takes a bit time to lock the satellite because I use only Integrated GPS.. the most important is, it is free without data charge..

If you dont know what this app does it shows a contacts picture when you recieve a sms message on the home screen, you need to add the images in the app.

Hopefully I have uploaded it ok, this is a unsigned app and crack and does require signing, hope you find it useful.
You cannot press the show button though, the work around I have is pressing the end key and then show.

SiC!FTP doesnt work properly.. you cannot
switch between server and local once you are connected...
so basicly you cant upload file.. which makes app useless so far on s60v5

I've tried some apps designed for s60v3 but work well in my s60v5 (Nokia 5800). Here they are:
1. Magic Message Manager v1.2 for s60v3 / s60v5, a nice and useful app to filter any incoming and outgoing message.
2. Message Mirror Standard v2.0 s60v3, cool app to mirror your incoming and outgoing message so you have copy of any message you receive and sent. This program is also able to save your message in html format!
3. SMS Export v1.02 S60v3 arabic, import your inbox content to a text file and save it whether in your phone memory or in your memory card.

Hope these are useful for you. Sorry for no screenshot, because I do not know how to create it.

iSkoot_s60v3_1_1_60 worked well (almost 95%) on my N97 except one or two places where it could not accept input by touch, but then at this places you can use the joystick..
