160-character Greek SMS layout included!

I have updated this release to include a built-in layout for sending SMS messages of up to 160 characters in the Greek language. The layout is called "Greek (SMS)" and is embedded inside the CAB file! There is no need to install anything else! Just select it from the DynaType menu just like any other layout! See screenshots below:

How to install:

UnZip the attached file, copy the CAB file to your device and install as usual, then use one of the two keymakers to get your personalized key. Note that the key is based on the "Owner Name" you have set on your device. I have included two keymakers, one to be run on the PC side and the other to be run on the PPC side. Either one is good and working, use whichever you prefer.

You're welcome, nswprop, I'm glad you like the keyboard. It's my favourite one too. It's light, simple, and does the job really well. It's especially good for multi-language support (more than two languages). :good2:

Thanks for what looks like a great app, my problem is that the keymakers are not working for me.

Once I have unzipped the file I keep getting the message that the keymakers are not valid windows 32bit something or other!

Any help v.much appreciated.

I think you must be doing something wrong... There are two keymakers in the Zip file, one to be run on the PC side (KeyMakerPC.exe) and the other to be run on the PPC side (KeyMakerPPC.exe). You can use either one of them, they both work.

If you choose to use KeyMakerPC.exe, then you run it on your PC (not on your device)! In the window that appears, you type the "Owner Name" you have set on your device and it will give you the key to use for registration.

If you choose to use KeyMakerPPC.exe, then you run it on your device (not on your PC)! You need to copy it to your device and run it from there. It will automatically read the "Owner Name" you have set on your device and it will give you the key to use for registration.

In all cases, you must first enter a valid "Owner Name" on your device. You do this by going to Settings / Owner Information on your device and typing your name/nick in the Name field.

If one method doesn't work for you, try the other. I hope it is now clearer.

Thanks for the email with instructions for using the keymakers, had no joy with the PC version, kept getting the message that it wasn't a valid win32 whatever!

Copied the PPC version to my device has instructed, worked first time, thanks for your patience!

Strange... It works fine on my Kaiser...

What keyboard layout are you selecting? There are two: Greek and Greek (SMS). You must select the Greek (SMS) for it to work with 160 characters.

Please give it another try and let us know if it works.
