[Only registered and activated users can see links]

The transcend USB DRIVE which is 2 GB capacity actually after a long term usage about for about 1 year .. shows a capacity size of 982 MB ... I don't know the cause of this decreased memory capacity .. In the flash drive properties it shows the actual capacity itself to be 967 MB .. Another USB DRIVE of mine is showing the same problem ....TOSHIBA USB DRIVE which is 1 GB is now showing capacity of 0 bytes

PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM ..... I already tried formatting the USB DRIVE but it did not resolve the problem ..... I also checked the drives for bad sectors using widows default program...

Option 1. If you have an XP installation disk try this.

Turn-off PC. Unplug the power cord of your HDD. Plug your flash disk on USB. Turn on PC and boot on XP Disk as if you will install it. Then It will display your flash disk. Delete the partitions then create a new one. Then format it using quick fat32. Once is start to copying installation files, reset your PC. If you think its risky, then just create a partition and dont format it then reset PC. Plug hdd and remove flash disk and boot. Plug your USB then format it on windows.

Option 2. Or your can try this. Have a partition magic then delete the partitions and create a new one.

Choose which option you like and which software you can easily have.

Good luck.
