detees 2nd February 2009, 00:18 Nokia Sports Tracker v1.83 S60v5
Nokia Sports Tracker is a GPS-based activity tracker that runs on Nokia smartphones. Information such as speed, distance and time are automatically stored in your training diary, and on this site you can store and share your workouts and routes.
Sorry for screenshots! I have not Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
allwise 2nd February 2009, 01:23 Great! Just tested it. Don't have any screenshots program installed though.
EDIT: Installed a screenshot-program and uploaded directly from the 5800.
Just tested it and it works on my 5800! Maybe just a pre-release before v 2.0 is released, and if so: thanks a lot Nokia Beta Labs!
It supports heart rate monitoring and it seems like it can use the maps from the navigation program Maps. There are options where you can choose between satellite, street or terrain mode for maps.
THANKS A LOT!!! This forfills my 5800 finally!
Vitalish 2nd February 2009, 01:54 :urtheman: Sportstracker is one of my favorite appz. THX a lot :thanks:
jasonlkk 2nd February 2009, 07:23 Thanks for sharing mate, good application.
talhamid 3rd February 2009, 11:51 I have one problem. After my 'workout' which is actually driving, I want to see my map - and it either shows the entire thing fitted in the screen, or zooms into the center. There is no way to pan accross it while in zoomed state. Can anybody else test it and give feedback?
Also, where is step counter?
allwise 3rd February 2009, 13:25 I also have that panning problem. I guess itīs because itīs a non-official release and will be solved to 2.0.
Step counter? Do you mean the seperate program StepCounter you can download a version for 3.2 which works. Otherwise you can configure your Workout in Sportstracker to also measure steps.
talhamid 3rd February 2009, 14:25 @Allwise: Thanks, nice to see that my problem is indeed a software fault and not something I am missing.
As for step counter - I still cant find the setting you mentioned but I am guessing the 'pace' reading does the same job.
Thanks again
allwise 3rd February 2009, 17:39 Hehe, now with a second look I cannot either find that setting! Seems like they have deleted that option. Wonder if its temporary or permenant and they want us to use the application Stepcounter for that instead... But still in the workout diary the steps row is still there but just says 0 steps. I think that this option will exist on 2.0 :)
sudeep1911 4th February 2009, 19:31 kewl appp...i was usin it in ma n95 8gb...was waiting 4 tiz in ma 5800...thnx m8..

Игор 10th February 2009, 23:05 You need to enter some data (height, weight,...) to get calory and step count.
This app is a must have (and it is also available at nokia's website freely)
Thanks for the share
allwise 11th February 2009, 22:52 I still cannot get the step counter to work, even though I've set up my weight and other personal data.

No, this 1.83 version which is compatible with 5800 doesn't exist on any Nokia site. At least I cannot fint it neither at official Sportstracker site nor the Nokia research sportstracker page... Or where do you find it?
Игор 12th February 2009, 20:14 Oh well, my bad.
I've downloaded mine for 9.1 from Nokia's website, this version for V5 is not on the official website yet.
Tuningszocske 25th March 2009, 06:41 Somehow it does not start on my 5800 firmware v20. When I click the program icon, it is starting to blink as it is getting start but nothing happens, blinking stops. Anbody has an idea why?
Thx
