Hey. I 'm about to buy myself a new laptop. Here are the specs :

I just want to know how will this laptop run new games like Call of Duty 5, Far Cry 2, GTA IV,Left 4 Dead,etc.

if you can get the 9 series processor it will help with big applications (3d rendering or video encoding, some games like GTAIV) it has twice the L2 cache (6MB).

Also if possible a laptop with more dedicated video memory will help for GTAIV 256 is pretty low these days.

All the games you mention should run fine, although GTAIV can be a real hog on the system. Don't be let down if that doesn't run well!
