hi all, after some time ive got truck map ( 815.2112 ) installed on my one xl
app 8.070, after first boot it asked for vechicle info ( height, weight limit etc ) now when i start up it asks me nothing i installed navcore_8.070.9589.gox20, or do i need another version, im trying to get so lane guidance works & so i have to enter vech specs after each boot, could someone point me in the right direction please, ive been trying for almost a week now & im starting to give up.

I know that a specific truck-navcore is the 8.320 version....(with the modified ttuser ttsystem_se version)

Look at the guide for this navcore...

Maybe it's the one right for your truck map!

8320 is not a Truck Navcore !!!! Where do you get this from ????

It may well run the 815.2112 truck map but DOES NOT route plan using Truck parameters because you cannot enter them.

The ONLY Truck navcore is 8070.

It is not possible to change the route planning or algorithms in SE versions either...
these are unpublished 'secret' routines for TT programmer ONLY.

Rubbish? OK, The OFFICIAL truck version is ok the 8.070, but....
If you don't want the 8320, don't use it...the version is
v8.320.9901 x 530/730/930 truck
There are also the ttuser se versions 1.1 & 1.2
(it asks for the characteristics of your vehicle, etc, etc....)

The scientists said that they don't exist....
so why put other forum's links, files and threads about this particular 8.320 version?

A friend of mine use the 8.320 truck navcore (se vers. 1.2) & map for trucks on its TT930 in italy & around europe...so what i care about the scientists in other world's parts?

My intent was only to give a little more informations to the user in difficulty with it's 8.070...
Better for him there is a more capable doctor...!
I'm more relaxed now...he is in better hands!

vehicle specs are in memory after first boot
you are asked if you want to change em when you plan a route [ just in case you [un]loaded ] ,
not anymore when booting
you can also change em in menu

2 , there is no other version

got it working :D , i used SE_ttsystem.8070.9589.rev.1.2
now its working sweet, the problem i was having was there was no option to change vech spec

so you got this working fine then infoslash, this will come in handy for my job which involves driving. So you can put in vehicle height, width & weight etc.

what map did you use infoflash?

Hi there chaps,

I have been trying to get the truck map 825.2112 to work on navcore 8.070 for ages now on a TT one XL, trying to put it on a 2gb sd card.

I am not that good at doing these kind of things and I am confused, the navcore has different folders ranging from x20 and go930, then a rev1.2 folder.

I am not sure what is happening but all I get is 'no maps found' I dont know if it is navcore related or map related, benSS keygen says it has done the .dct file but still no joy?

Would it be possible for someone who has done this maybe on a one xl sd card to explain in simple steps how to get this to work.

Hi jimbo... you appear to have the App running as you get to the 'No Map' screen.
I'd start looking at the 2 common faults with Map loading...

bad cracked OR Nested files.

to make sure the DCT is correct, you can use, perhaps EasyActivator, but I prefer old school RunMeforDCT using insert_meta_from_map_here in EasyUseTools, at times of wierdness. All other tools are great, just that I fall back to basics out of desparation, I guess.

Make sure your Truck map folder is on root & files are in there... no 2nd level folder

When extracting maps from RAR, often a 2 level folder is created and while TT can see these maps,
they cannot use them if 'nested' inside a 2nd folder.

As a last act, load a compatible UK map ( as its small so is quick test) and get it running to prove the App is ok
( 815.2023/2024 will do ).
