Hi Suresh!
What type of addressing did you do? Is it dynamic or static?

If your using cables.

Refrain from touching them. It should be fixed. Check the light of the hub if they are present.

Ping each other PC to check they connection.

Much better to create a shortcut on desktop of the shared folder from other PC. On RUN type "\\192.168.0.5" without quotes (I just assume the 192.168.0.5, replace it with your IP). Sometimes, Network Places on windows explorer are not working correctly.

We cant always blame for viruses ;)
