yDdraigGoch 12th February 2009, 11:45 Current understanding of TT update is that it fixes the 'buggy' sound issues of 8300 & 8320.
So far, this is only noticable difference reported.
EDIT: news from TT web
http://uk.support.tomtom.com/cgi-bin/tomtom_uk.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=6141&Lid=1
This is the SE version 8301, made by TTuser, and so does all the stuff you'd expect from 8300 but will also have the minor fixes from TT in it.
I would imagine the highlights of its operations are carried in the 8300 thread
SO if you use SE 8300 & have sound problems, or are Aussie EPT user, try this.
AND remember to say :thanks: to TTuser for continuing to support this, even now, with less time for play.
vincentn1981 12th February 2009, 11:55 What I heard is that this version only solves a problem with EPT and that the sound problems with TTS stuttering are still there. So do not expect much. Hopefully I am wrong...
xdoctor 12th February 2009, 12:15 What I heard is that
...the sound problems with TTS stuttering are still there.
Wrong.
Stuttering computer voice is over now.
So says my 720T. :wave:
NoelCaj68 12th February 2009, 12:18 TTUser resolved the Audio Problem. :thanks:
8.301 + TTUser ttsystem (x30) ---> TTHome = Loquendo 700.
...and work fine. :wave:

sam73 12th February 2009, 12:42 Hi can i use this TTsystem for the go 530.
thanks
vincentn1981 12th February 2009, 12:55 The TomTom website says this:
Version 8.301
(TomTom GO x20 and x30 series)
* Fixes EPT not working in Australia
but others indicate differently.
@sam73 yes it can. Try it and tell us your results.
sam73 12th February 2009, 13:16 ok tonight i'll try it!!
retrobot 12th February 2009, 16:10 When you say old devices do you think I could get this to work on my one with a sd card? Ive already gotten 8.204 with 815.2019 maps working on it.
martpaul 12th February 2009, 17:20 in my one v4 froze when i thouch the screen thereīs something i shoud do? thanks
vincentn1981 12th February 2009, 17:30 The previous version of this NavCore, the 8.300(SE) also originally for the x40 device also froze on the TomTom One's why was not really clear to me. Some people only copied the ttsystem file of that navcore and did not copy the complete content of the .cab file or the basicpack provided by TTuser and then said it worked for them. Please check the previous topic on this.
If someone has found out how to get it to work, please let us know.
If I have time this weekend I may start to test a little...

a511z 14th February 2009, 08:36 would it be 8.301 navcore for Old Devices?
Foxylady 14th February 2009, 11:31 I currently using V8.204 NC, will experiement on my tomtom One V2 today.
Sorry for dumbass question, is there a list of catergories for models and names please.
What i mean is i see x20, x40 etc, so my One V2 what is it a x20, x40?
Thank you.
Will let you know later today how this operates on my device if it does at all
fergus 14th February 2009, 15:39 Your One V2 is just a One V2. There was also original One, V3, V4, etc.
x20 = 520, 720, 920
x30 = 730, 930, etc
x40 = new LIVE series, 740, 940, etc.
The cracked TTsystems emulate the different versions on your model.

mgroen 15th February 2009, 18:58 Excuse for dumpass question:

elroy944 15th February 2009, 18:59 can anyone confirm if the hd traffic receiver works under x40 emu (i love the voice control, but it cant work together with hd traffic)
Cisco_guy 18th February 2009, 23:19 is there is one for x30 devices
i just updated but can't patch the ttsystem
dillingerdan 19th February 2009, 03:56 is there is one for x30 devices
i just updated but can't patch the ttsystem
This si for x30 I believe, x20 and x30 officially. Can I just use the TTSystem from the SE pack on my official 730? I want to keep it official and that yDG tool doesn't work for me on any of my devices (Go700 does nothing on, just copies my TTSystem file to .old, as far as I can tell the new one is identical, in file size, modified date etc, so I use an SE x40 NC now, and my 730 it actually makes a new file but its about 1MB and causes the unit to crash on boot up). I can then use Speedcams and cracked maps right?
congminh6 19th February 2009, 05:29 Hi, do you know if this version works for TT one 3rd? Thanks.
Greg1 19th February 2009, 09:40 Does this version support the ONE XL? Without any problems.
Its just that I have tried the older 8204.9718 version of this but it would loose sound when playing custom ogg and wav files. I thought I might download the newer version to see if they had fixed the problem.
vartaxe 19th February 2009, 14:24 what's the procedure to install latest navcore by TTuser in a go910 and a go720 please
vincentn1981 19th February 2009, 15:22 @vartaxe
Have you already downloaded the files and read the 100 tutorials, the included readmenot.txt which are already available on how to install the NavCoreSE variants? Why people are asking the same questions all the time, when it is not how to isntall this navcore, it is a other one or install or deinstall the bootloader?
Go here and READ how it is done:

lessram 2nd March 2009, 23:37 With a TTOne.... best use 8.204, for most (if not all) 8.3xx crashes during bootup on TTOne.
Use 8.204 and you can also use the new 8.25 maps with ALG and IQROUTES
Arghnitrox 2nd March 2009, 23:49 Thanks for youe reply lessram !!
Will follow your advice !
vincentn1981 2nd March 2009, 23:58 @lessram
8.300 and 8.310 also work on TT oneV2 now and probably others which hang on pressing the navigation screen. However the fancy x40 icons for 8.310 does not work.
Still agree that 8.204 is better, but I have not tested 8.310 that well yet (I actually fancy the x40 icons... nad that annoyingly is not working).
