Tried on TT One v2 .

It works well with France v815.2024 but doesn't recognize maps v815.2003.

It shows the ALG switch icone.

I tried on tomtom 930. With 815 maps it hangs on startup screen...

i just slapped it on my 740 ( just being impatient lol) and it turns off on splash screen (i expected it not to work though lol) but i need this bugger :D

I got the navcore to work with TT Users ttsystem and v800 maps. Used easyusetools to create dct file. Now struggling with jdownloader to download the new truckmaps...

No the navcore that,s on my internal storage keeps the same.
Navcore 8.320.
The trucknavcore is on the sd card.
the tomtom boots from the sdcard when it is inside the tomtom.
I also tried to put the navcore on my 930 but then i hangs on startup.
And not only the map works with a mct file but also the safetycamera,s that are on it.
Because they where not the most recent i put the last update from the safetycamera.s in the truckmap and now they have the dct extension.

Again,this is interesting...historically only the lower spec devices (Ones and xl's) could have a different navcore on the sd while having another in internal memory...so you have 8.320 on sd and on internal... 8.300?

No big surprise there (obviously the Sd works like TTuser's version file does when placed at root of tt in that it does its job then vanishes),if you'd made a full copy of the SD before using it you could probably use it on any tt....we live and learn...

Well have tried this and selected car and the truck and it makes no different when you select the truck it still sends you down the back lanes with a 30 ton truck so can’t see the point was hoping it would keep you to the main roads if i selected the truck

You have to use map 815.2112 to correctly use the size of your car/truck
This 815.2112 map works also with navcore 8.20x, 8.30x or 8.410

This is the ONLY MAP that correctly use this kind of feature.

Following advice on here and following the excellent video tutorial, I did a full winrar backup of my tomtom one V2 and then downloaded the SE Navcore (found at http://www.anonym.to/?http://rapidshare.com/files/185114785/SE_ttsystem.8070.9589.rev.1.2.rar)

I copied it all across to my device as per the video tutorial, ready to use easyeasytools.

BUT now NOTHING works. The device is stuck on the opening screen.

Update: Did a restore and the second one worked - dont know what happened there.

Please someone - what am I doing wrong.

If it works, you did nothing wrong. Maybe you tried to patch the navcore (don't).

Go and see the the FAQ's! Navcore 8.070 may not work on a GO500.
If it does:
Download the navcore (probably basicpack + ttsystem)
Get a matching map
Generate a key
Drive off

I have navcore and the map on the card, it just sticks at the flash screen.
I am using 8.204 on another card so I know how it should usually work, just neither of the 2 versions of 8.070 will work.
I wondered if there was a way of fixing it so it can be used on the go500.

I too am interested in this. I have a Go 300 and am trying to get this running with the 815 truck map.

horseyian, I can't remember all that I did, but I have now got this running on my GO 300. I backed up my card, formatted it, made a folder on my desktop, right clicked on "navcore x20", extracted to the folder previously made on my desktop, and found what looked like a typical file system from a tomtom. So I copied the contents onto my card, stuck a map there as well. I then did any necessary patching and it all seems to work. Hope this helps

Bitchkilla. can you give us a bit more details. I have tried several different downloads of the navcore, x10, x20 etc all of them hang on the splash screen on my GO500.
Basically a faster GO300 with bluetooth, so if works on the 300 it should work on the 500.
If poss a dump of the card would be amazing.

I just bought a TomTom GO740 Live, but have not opened the package. I read on a forum that the 740 is NOT suitable for running the TRUCK-Navcore. At the moment I am using a ONE XL V1 with the TRUCK-Navcore, and it runspretty slow.
Anyway, I would like to run the TRUCK-Nacvore on this new 740, but if it is NOT going to work I will return it for an other TT.

Can anyone tell me if this will work at all?

just tried to put nc 8.070 and the WCE map on the memory card (2gb) and I dont think it will fit! ouch :ashamed:

I'm struggling to get this Navcore to run on a TT One XL V3. There appears to be a common problem in the splash screen freezing and this is also the case with my TT1. I have attached a jpeg showing a screen dump on the file structure. I am uploading the detail on to a 4GB SD Card.

The TTGO.bif contains

The info they gave you at the other forum is correct.Still nobody that has it working on a X40 device

I'm surprised if that's true although I would recommend you put it all on a 2Gb MicroSD rather than in the internal memory

Some of my colleges did try it but without any luck.the even tryed al the availlable SE versions there are.
May bey somthing to try out fot ttuser.
