Note: MumSMS+ for S60 uses only following unrestricted and user-grantable capabilities: 1)ReadUserData 2)WriteUserData. The installation package had been self-signed before the delivering. And in most S60 devices, you need to change the default software installation setting to 'All' to allow installation of self-signed applications (Tools - App. Manager - Options - Settings).

Is there anyway to hide this notification.. there is no way in settings or anywhere to hide this.. and this is pretty annoying... :grrr:

My pleasure dear.. however it's ok if we cant remove that, I guess that's enabled in the file itself hence only editing the main file can do this.. which I guess no cracker will be willing to do... anyways thnx again for this app... ;)

There's a bug with FS Caller and MUM SMS - FS shows the SMS on the screen, I can even open it and read it. Only after I close sms, it's not visible in inbox.
Second, I have Nokia's Conversation that integrates with Contacts, all of my "hidden" sms are visible there. :oom:

Well I dont know about FS caller, but I am not having any problem or conflict with Nokia's Conversation.. ;)

This app came I bit late I think, Smartphoneware Private Conversation can do everything MumSMS can do, as well as hide phone logs and is very light weight. I too was a bit fan of MumSMS in the old days but really debating if its at all useful keeping it.

Me too. Now when S60v3 is on the sundown and where S60v5 touch UI comes we get application made for S60v2 phones in first place?!
Smartphoneware Private Conversation can doo the job like you say, ADL also. MumSMS comes too late.

I can hear the text message alert sounds when I receive a message (even though the text is hidden) - anyone with the same problem?

That's not a problem mate but good for you, else how would you know that you got a new message, remember this is not a filtering app, but message hider app.., so it wont silent the message tone but raise that of course, but hide the message. ;)

Well every app has their own good and bad features.. as I said earlier this is not a filter app but a hider app, and I would prefer to have a sound when a new message arrived or else how would I know that a secret message arrived, though BPC has an upper hand in this by setting defined tones to the caller,... but that's not something big we miss in this app.. however yeah the release of this app is quite delayed as 3rd edition has already been so much old. But I guess every user has their own taste and requirements, hence some will find this useful and some not, well about me.. .I am loving it :dance2:

Well, I used this app extensively on my older Nokias, but since this version has a bug ( not starting up it's mumsmsserver.exe upon reboot ), I won't use it on my Nokia E71.

can anyone help me.. i installed this app on my e65 nokia fon, however i cant read incoming mssgs (juz the tone) even when the app is in disabled state (and though ive got only one fon no. on the blacklist), all other numbers i cant read it.. i tried to uninstall it but still the icon shows on my screen and incoming mssgs cant still be read.. how do i install this one completely, i have a hacked fon... thanks in advance...:ilove:
