He's talking about 8.204 not 8.410, or are you suggesting he installs 8.410 to cure the problem?
@Binkiee
Is it that it will not pair with phone or is it just some aspect of plus services or handsfree that is wrong?
Binkiee 17th March 2009, 12:16 Thanks for responding to my question.
The problem is that when I want to switch-on bluetooth, it takes a long time before the TT reacts (much longer than I was used to with Navcore 7.903). Then, the message that bluetooth is searching for other equipment is shown very shortly (less than a second) and then directly it shows a fault message that the TT did not found any equipment. However the TT menu changes and the option to switch-of bluetooth becomes active which suggest that bluetooth is switched-on. When I search my TT with switched-on bluetooth from a telephone, the telephone cannot find the TT.

KenBruce 18th March 2009, 01:45 When you changed navcores did you just change the ttsystem and poi.dat file? If not did you leave out some files which it needs maybe.
It is probably one of those problems that comes with trying to use the wrong programme. There are so many things that don't work correctly that I opted to go for the correct navcore for the model I have. In the end you have to decide which is more important, having the programme or having one which works.
dillingerdan 18th March 2009, 03:08 Hi there.
Our (families) GO500 encountered a similar problem to this. It didn't take that long to come up but the search would almsot instantly end and find nothing. I cured it thanks to the GO700 we also have with the same Navcore. Copied a few of the settings files over and bingo worked. I'll see if I can remember what I did and get the files off my GO700 for you tomorrow if I can. Worked for me.
Binkiee 18th March 2009, 09:33 Thanks, that would be great if you can send me the files from the TT 700.

Binkiee 18th March 2009, 21:44 Grard31,
As fa as you know, is there any difference between those 2 versions when using it on a 500? Can you also explain the use of the suspend file because I have not seen this file before?
Thanks, Binkiee

navcore SE 8.410 demand fewer resources than navcore SE 8.204
File allows suspend.ogg not close too quickly the application (do the test without this file to see the difference)

Binkiee 19th March 2009, 23:42 Grard31,
I discovered a problem with my TT 500 and bluetooth and maybe you have a solution. It seemed that bluetooth worked correct but when I switch it off and then on again, bluetooth doesn't work anymore. I then have the same problem as before where it says that it is switched on but cannot find bluetooth equipment anymore.

HPCRAZY,
Did you copy the 'bton' file (without extention) to the root of your TT. When I had this Navcore version on my 500 I could activate the bluetooth button. It only did not see any bluetooth equipment. With 8.410 this works but I seem to have problems when I switch it off and want to switch it on again.
hpkrazy 21st March 2009, 18:32 sorry bton? don't understand?
anyway i also have 8.401 on another sd and that too has bluetooth greyed out and also only about 2.6mb free ram sot it turns off sometimes.

HPKRAZY,
I had the same problem with mine TT 500. After I installed the Cspeech dummy files I had about 4 -5 MB more free RAM memory. You can over write the original Cspeech files in the country map with the dummy files which you can download from ipmart.
