Hi
At the moment i have navcore 8.10 with Uk 825.2159 map and things work fine,but when i install any higher Nav such as 8.2 or 8.4 everything locks up i have seen other peeps running these navcore on the Go500 with out a problem can some one please tell what i may be doing wrong.

I do not know what goes wrong on your GO500. Did you give it a reset?
I assume you started from scratch from a SE basicpack and added what you
needed. Both 8.204 and 8.410 work on all models, but have their problems
on all GO's. AFAIK, 8.410 should work on a GO500. Reset, and make sure you
did a clean install.

For GO500 you can add folder Outsourced.8410
4- Open the folder : SE_Navcore.8.410.1218.Basicpack (downloaded)
- Install SE_Navcore.8.410.1218.Basicpack contents of the folder to the root of your GO700 later :
- delete the folders ephem, Navcore.8.410.1218@ tomtom.com, Outsourced.8410 and the file readmenot.txt
