(hopefully this will give more people the ability to share apps)

:goodluck:

Once you have root it is very easy to rip an app

1.buy and install app (note developer name)
2.run terminal emulator
3.enter 'su' and if popup press allow to allow root
4.type 'cd /system/app-private'
5.then 'ls', and look for app name
6.if not there check in 'cd /system/app'
7.once found use 'cp APPNAME /sdcard/apps'
8. Now u have a backup to do whatever u want with on the sd card
9.feel free to refund the app and install from the backup (just navigate to it with linda or something and open with package installer)

Sometimes the app has a weird name. That's why I note the developer name as its in the app filename

Also for speed, I use 'ls *open*' which will list all apps with open in the name, and to copy use cp *open* /sdcard/apps

Of course u could just use cp * /sdcard/apps to copy all apps to the apps folder on the sd card

Thanks wardy277 for the tutorial on how to rip an app!

[Only registered and activated users can see links] if you have rc33 dl the 1.42 if you do ad1 get the 1.43 and same goes for rc9

that page has links to mirrors. i kind of find it stupid no one really posted any mirrors to the main files.. but luckily this one does. just make sure you read atleast 3 times so you know what you're doing.

Hey there is another way to get root for anyone new to trying it. There is a root app that was created which I helped test and get running correctly. you just install the app and follow the instructions: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
