Hi all,

I've successfully installed version 8.204.9718 from here (http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=319234).

After a few minutes driving however, tomtom suddenly keeps quiet and will refuse to give any voice instructions or voice warnings. After restarting the device, the voice is usually back for a few minutes.

Also, when the device is turned off (power off button), instead of turning off it just restarts. Usually at the second attempt the device finally turns off.

Any ideas how these problems could be resolved?

Cheers

This probably happens because you have a warning sound installed which is encoded at 44.1 khz, disable this warning sound and it should keep warning, but I would actually advise you to use the newest navcore available 8.410, meanly because these kind of software problems have been solved in this release.
