View Full Version : RDS-TMC on NC 8.300 GO910 Problem Antonolsen 24th March 2009, 23:37 TMC searches but no connecting. help please :hardcry: bigade1 25th March 2009, 02:36 I had a similar problem when upgrading to different navcores and the cure for me was to delete the folder named "gns" and replace it with the same folder from a back up which had rds-tmc working correctly on it previously. One of the files must have been corrupted or contained the wrong data. Try it out but make a copy of the original file first so you can always put it back if its a different problem. Let us know if it works for you. kesawi 25th March 2009, 04:32 Remove TT from mount Turn off TT Turn TT back on and let it start up Once TT is running and showing you the map put it back on the mount. Press ok when TMC-RDS error message comes up. TMC-RDS should now start working. If it doesn't, perform a soft reset between steps 2 & 3. Antonolsen, With navcore SE 8.410 it works. :good2: Read here : http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showpost.php?p=2568266&postcount=1 Look here : http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showpost.php?p=2605225&postcount=121 grard31 Gizzburn 8th April 2009, 23:39 I can confirm that it works on a 910 with 8410.. just been out today and my locked on to a signal after two mins searching. Gizz LoneCrusader 9th April 2009, 17:12 both the 8.410 & 8.204 run the RDS-TMC just fine... yaan 9th April 2009, 23:17 I had a similar problem with my TMC from one day to another - without changing Navcore or anything else: icon in the upper right stayed the car with 'jumping' arrow over it. I was about to purchase a new TMC receiver but then I opened it. After having a look on the contact I recognized that 2 of them were shorted due to bad soldering. So I repaired the soldering and voila: TMC works fine now :) |
