I have latest sygic with greek latest navi maps. I added thailand maps I edited the .mlm to include [tha] I used keygen for the new mlm and map and everything went well. BUT when I tried to actually see roads of thailand HA there are no roads. Like I never added the maps. Greek maps still work. Notice greek maps 2010 , thailand 2009. Does anyone have an idea? as always you must edit the .mlm that you have and add the SIGLE of the nations you're interested! or use one of the .mlm file valid for the whole world that you find in the first page of these thread

I installed Sygic mobile 10 on my phone. I downloaded the USA maps from the first page (NEW! (updated 19-08-2009) MAP FOR WHOLE NORTH AMERICA)
I made an .mlm file that looks like this:

sorry but you're making a mlm that is totally wrong,not compatible with sygic 10.
You must read and follow what written in the first page of the sygic 10 thread (not these one).
There you'll see what changes you must do to yours .mlm file....

You are basically saying that you don't know either.
Why don't you just write it out if you really want to be helpful.

I am unable to register the .mlm file that comes in the maps package, that's why I have started editing.

as written,yeah you have to create every sudir in \maps for every state you want! using the sigle of the nation...

I downloaded the skdgpub.exe, and don't know what to do with it. I says [RUS], which i don't know how to change. When I put in my device code, and then try to use the resulting code, sygic says it isn't valid.

There is possibility, that map release for NA is other, than 2009.08. If you don't see them, I will try to generate with other...

PS: Generating license code is same as for any other device - you need keygen, and valid .mlm file - that's all.

I just renamed my license.txt to license.txt.trial, fired up sygic, found my mlm (c:\drivexp\maps\), it couldn't find the correct activation code for the map, clicked activate, manual, and input the code you posted; it then tells me it couldn't find the right activation for my map....

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I just checked my version and it's 7.71 bld4189, maps 7.80.

My toughbook crashed and I had to reload the dern thing. I had the exact copy of sygic running on this notebook, and now it won't connect to my gps.

It's a Toughbook CF-29 with a holux gr87 on com2, 4800
Sygic RC11 usmaps activated

It says it can' find the gps when I autodetect or tell it manually ("COM2", buad set to 4800 or 9600)
In device manager my Com2 is set to 9600, which is how it was running before I reloaded the os, when sygic was running great.
I already have c:\Drive_XP\drive\drivers\default with the two dlls
and if i delete the drivers section (leaving [Drivers]) in the settings.ini, then it says my map isn't activated, won't give me a device ID (just shows an _) to generate a new activation code, and won't accept the activation code that worked for me before.
I have also tried Xport software to make virtual com ports, and sygic doesn't see those either, or use them when I specify those virtual coms.
All the other gps softwares I have run just fine (not at the same time of course).

Please help, I love the program, and got used to using it.

Try to rename settings.dat file - it holds all your previous settings - you can start program from scratch.

Yeah, I have tried that and not tried that with every other possible solution. No change.

I don't know what I did last time, it had the same problem the first two times I fired it up (before the os reload), but it just suddenly worked. i even had all the exact same files and settings (I just compressed the whole folder to a rar file, and backed it up).

Origionally, rc11 worked the first go round and rc12 had the aformentioned problems.

Now that I redid the OS, rc11 has those problems, and rc12 works fine.

Everything are working very well except roundabout sign in UK

Sygic 7.71 v7044 Symbian: [Only registered and activated users can see links]

CAUTION:, this information is only for Symbian systems that already have a working Sygic version!
Short explanation for Installation 7.71.7044D version:
Uninstall the old version,
copy the new folders DRIVE, RES and SetupSymbian.sis install file to your card or Massmemeory, Do not replace the folder "MAPS"
Install now the new version, you wont have to activated it.

Better is clean install - there are incompatibility with favorites... You need to convert them.

I installed the sygic mobile 8.14 on my nokia e71 and then cracked it. downloaded map for north america and copy the Michigan map and canada too, it run good with no problem, but now I planning to travel to Chicago and I upload the map to my E:\maps folder with the MI and Candada. the map not appear in the appz I can saw just Mi and CAN???

PS: in your mlm, section [AUSTRALIA] is obsolete, section [WORLD] covers whole world, except North America. (maps, made by TA)

Is the Israel map compatible with Sygic 8.24? I have a Nokia E72 with European and US maps. Works perfectly. However, Israeli map referenced in this thread couldn't be activated with either 7.71 key generator or the latest one: It says incorrect activation code. Any help would be appreciated.
