In order to make Sygic see the maps, YOU MUST EDIT THE .MLM FILE!
and add the sigle of the nation you are interested.
Example: Great Britain -> GBR and on....
If you still need a .mlm file (or just as example) use these one:

Dannydj hadnt found any solution too.

Actually only one forum has been able to make them work and its gsmfreeboard. There you can read that the maps are working.
Also the maps are real and new because are downloaded from the official sygic site (like the updated sygic).
So in few words, i dont know how to make them work but they work.

Well, i will wait to see if it's really useless. The new maps and new version of Sygic are waited for many people and as you know i my self am a Sygic fan. I will be happy to repp+ you when there will be a solution too. But they have to be fully functional for the thread to stay. It's the section rules, not mine.

the new maps work with 7.70 with old keygen and the old allmaps.mlm. however new version 7.71 seems to need a new keygen to work, independant of what maps you have.

Can u upload new map of israel?There is no such. There are many new maps from all around the World, *all* that are available by now except the US states are now online at GSMfreeboard ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) :dance::dance2:

All work with Sygic 7.70, provided you use the plain old MLM, just sporting the country entries and nothing else, i.e.

[AUT]
[CHE]
[ITA]

for the Alps region.

Alas, you may want to try to fiddle with the [DEFAULT]-section inside the new version's MLM. That said, the forementioned plain old MLMs do definitively work with Sygic 7.70 and the according license. Will say: if your old 7.70 worked, it will continue to work with the new maps if you return to former MLMs. No speedcams then, but new maps. Also not too bad for the time being, as I would say.

Israel maps are distributed as hard copies via Sygic Israel so that noone copies them. They cannot be downloaded or purchased online - I read on their site that you need to go to the office of the distributor to get the map update.

Nah, its just that in a country like UK or France, Sygic sells atleast a few thousand legal copies and then has a couple of thousand pirated copies around. In Israel (and places like China) they sell 1 copy only, so I think the local Sygic office there wants to try and control the map.

Anyone tried the new GB map? The program (McGuider 7.7) recognises it but as soon as I try and find an address or postcode the program crashes "unexpected error".

Any advice?

update: based onto the file of philou92 (United Team), here a modified application.skin so that at startup the left button is only visible (to skip activating), right button completely deactivated and message hidden at the red startscreen
5800xm users will work too now.
i added a german.lang, english.lang and english_us.lang where i moddified the start screen. on left button it says in english "Start program" and the screen shows instead of the trial message at the beginning "Welcome to Sygic Mobile 7.71"
To edit for other languages, open up your language file with a text-editor, and change the entries:
lang id="message.activate.trial" text="The message about the remaining dates of trialperiod" (the main-text in red about the trialperiod)
and
lang id="button.activate.later" text="Activate later" (the text on the left button) to what you want!

Can some Mod or OP update the original posting. It seems the program is now fully cracked if you use 1k trial code: TRIALKJPWLWQZ in conjunction with the edited langugage and application.skin.

I have replaced those files and the program seems to be working normal.

I moved the date forward 14 days with this code and the program asks for new activation. Anyone else tried it? Possibly because I originally activated with the 14 day trial??

Good news is that it works fine when the date is moved back, so that may be a way out for the meantime.

EDIT: Ok, I moved date to 2010 and then reinserted 1k code and then moved back to current date and all seems fine at both dates!

fin.pak must be in FIN folder under maps folder. u must have E/maps/FIN/fin.pak

Put the pak file in a folder with the same name....
The fin.pak should be in folder 'fin' (small letters and without the ' ' off course)...

That would be enough becaude the mlm file in post 1 is 4 the world.....

i installed 7.71 software and the new allmaps file and it
wont find the map.

strange i install the app on the mem card on my 5800 and it wont start so i try to install it on the phone memory thinking "hey it maybe have to be on the phone" but the app still wont start. does anyone have any suggestions for me?
might add that i haven't used any other versions of mcg before.

edit: now i have tried to first copy the files from mcG 7.7 to the root of the memcard then installed 7.7 didnt work then i unistalled 7.7 and replaced all the files from 7.71 and instsalled 7.71's sis file and nothing happens when i tap the mcG icon.

HA HA!! FULLY HACKED NOW! Only thing is the actvate now button that has reappeared. Doesnt disturb the program, just a little cheap/irritating as I cant show off that much if it asks for activation each startup.... Any way to edit that out?

Ok, I have found a way to remove the activate on the start screen. It doesn't remove the button function, but it removes the words. Simply open the English.lang file (or whatever language you are using) with notepad and search for "activate" and replace it with " ". Leave the "" just remove the word.

Hope this helps someone :LoL:

But, at this time, is it possible to find somewhere a new Driver.exe or DriveCore.dll to "py-pass" the Trial Message on this system ? I try the application.skin modified, but i loose some elements on the screen like direction indicators an way help.

Hash file is a SHA-1 checksum. Every one exe file must have it corected.

Thanks a lot for Brazilian Map ... using right now 7.71 with the 1000 years trial key and skin modified to hide the Trial Message, just when i start the program it says this is a trial product and must be activated - i active it later.

I copyed myselft the files from brazilian voice of 7.6 to new version, seems to be working right.

Lane assistant should work on all maps that have lane informations in them. So, sorry but I don't know how good is your map.

There is no problem, the map from Teleatlas contain just main roads. You have to wait for Suncart version (local provider) or use v7.6.

I have installed Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and Andorra maps from the first post without any problems and they work perfectly, but the Great Britain map doesn't work. I tried with the map provided in the mirror by the user no-body, but the matter remains. When I try to select any city to navigate to it my Sygic gets blocked and I must close it with JBak Taskman. Then I install back my previous Great Britain map and my Sygic works like a charm, without any problem.

Does anyone knows why?

planning preferences i set it fastest route,it same as v7.60 i set before.but it route me different with v7.60...

I installed 7.71 on my nokia 5800xm and tested is with the 800kb romanian map. It works really smooth smoother than 7.6 worked on my 6110 navigator.
There must be a posibility to unpak and repak the 7.60 romanian map to a format that works with 7.71

Hi all got it all working on my N95 using the GBR map. can see my route all fine etc etc

I have also but on the Vatican map as I am due to go there shortly.

The Problem I have is when you try to switch maps it just comes up with 'Sygic mobili 7.71' and does not list any maps??

No, they´re not the same, the ones from 7.71 are newer!


The map version isn´t reading out of the maps, it´s somewhere hidden into


the program and meant only the major version of the maps!

the mal.pak map MUST be in the folder MAL.
No need to create or add any other mlm files.
In the menu you choose "Sygic Mobile" map.


Hey man, I am a Malaysian here. Tried the above instructions. Did not work. Renamed the map from mys.pak to mal.pak. Also created a folder named MAL. Did not work with the sygic mobile 7.71 from the first page. I also then tried to add one a [MAL] line in the .mlm file sygic mobile 7.71. It still says no map loaded. Any ideas? thanks

EDIT: it works, for all those malaysians out there. Use the sygic mobile 7.71 from the front page. And then make a folder MYS place in the maps folder and place the mys.pak file there. Do not change the name of the map. Works like a gem.

Sygic map never use mal.pak for malaysia map, it used mys.pak, and the folder should named mys not mal.:dance2:

I tried this and it works like a charm only i get a black bar on the bottom of the screen, can anyone help me remove it? Maybe its a trial or skin thing, i dunno..

I had same problem a while ago I reinstalled program but didn't help, then I removed Python which I installed for SmartTouch program, and after that I got texts back to Sygic.

Somehow Python prevents Sygic working properly. I hope this helps for you too..

You ca use them without any problem. I am using about 6 Navigation systems on the same SD and they working great.
