How can I export a theme such that it has default icons .... for the system elements ..... but for third party apps it has skinned icons .....

I think... Just not define icon for those folder.. And also delete the the inbuilt uid for it in carbide

Well, that is quite easy!

Just dont change anything on icons and when you create theme package icons will be default!!

Well, same answer:
dont change anything on system aplls icons (just leave them "unchecked"), and insert icons for 3rd party appls you entered uids! Simple like that!

why u only want to skin 3rd apps not nokia's default icons?? you mean u have lots of 3rd party apps not for nokia's default ones :confused:

anyway u need to skin only 3rd party apps u entered, rest leave as it is unticked. If any icons other then UIDs you entered are ticked then select them - right click - clear.....done

I dont wanna skin icons for v5 as they are good enough .... and the third party ones are along the same line .... so whats the need of increasing the sis file size?

You want to keep default touch icons from s60v5, and just to add 3rd party appls icons in touch style!
i dont have 5800, but i think there is also default icons that are not in touch style, but they are the same as old nokia icons. You have to change them also. So, the best thing is to test on 5800 if you have one..
