NP. If you need any help after installing lemme know. I kept getting the insert disc 1 error and it took me a while to remember exactly how to fix it. If anyone needs help, just PM me and write on here and I'll post how to fix any errors that I can help with.

I downloaded the files without any problems, burnt the Iso and installed the game but as you say, it asks to insert disk 1...
I really hope you can remember how you fixed it!

ok to fix the problem, you can do it one of two ways. The first way is the easiest way. Just keep the iso mounted. After you mount the iso, go into regedit (vista just type it in to the start bar, XP go to run then type regedit.) and go to local machine/software/squaresoft, inc/Final Fantasy VIII/1.00 and change DataDrive to match that of your virtual drive letter that the iso is mounted on.

The second way is to go into the iso and extract the information into the location you have FFVIII installed. then go into regedit (see above) and change the data drive to exactly match that of the AppPath.
