Okay got it. Maybe it's useful to mention that a license.txt is generated automatically in the 'Maps' map on the device. The activation key should be copy-pasted into this file to get it unlocked. Thanks anyway!

Using file explorer or the win explorer in the pc find file DRIVE. Copy it . Go to dir windows -start menu -programs - and paste shortcut. It will appear in your program list. If you dont like the name rename it.

Guys, the Germany (DEU) map has speedcams with it. Can somebody tell me how to activate them? I could not find them in POIs :-(

I am not able to install the application in the phone.
When ever I try to run the Setup winmobile.exe, I get the message as follows:
"The file 'autorun' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of it components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file".
When it is closed "Invalid copy of Sygic Drive SD card also appears.
Kindly advise as how ti install the programme.

The "Doc" file says how to convert the trial version to Full version.
But as I have mentioned in my earlier postiong, I am not able to install the programme.
Kindly can some one post the step by step procedure for installing.

I'm assuming your Symbian Phone is hacked mate,if it's not look at this thread,read through it.

If you running WM5/6,Simply Copy the "Winmobile" file to your memory card and run from Phone.(Don't forget to copy all the folders to the memory card as well).

If you get stuck trying to sign the file as i did for symbian,look at this Video,it really helped me.(Ignore that its for a different Nokia,same method applies)

Dear jmermel, in a fact I continue with problems! The Sygic begin very whel and when I select a route from my house to my work... accept and begin running... but in a few kilometres... jump one message box with this name: 'Illegal operation report' and this text: The software performed illegal instruction (MAIN). We are sorry for inconvenience, and... stop the navigation! When I hit OK in the box... Sygic exit.
Maybe the problem is my Touch HD Blackstone or the path in the .ini files because in HD the name of the card is 'Storage Card' and in a Diamond is only 'Storage' ?!
I move the folder WCL have this file inside (wcl.pak) to Storage Card>ucl and also this two files: McGuider 2009.mlm and Sygic Mobile 7.71.mlm
I can't uninstall also... in Storage Card>2577 have Uninstall.exe but when I run this... I have the error message: SySettings.ini doesn't exist. But... this SySettings.ini is in Storage Card>2577 So... a problem with Path in ini.files?
Whel... I think I must forget this beautiful app, eheheh! and continue with NDrive! Because don't uninstall... maybe if I delete the entire folder Drive,UCL, and autorun.exe more SySettings from 2577 and a search from Sygic in registry... my HD stay clean! Other way is a copy of a correct structure I must see on the Storage Card, eheheh!

As a few people are asking (but no answers yet) "No map loaded... etc" is all that pops up on the screen after running the app. How do I get the map to load? I've put the "gbr" folder in the Maps folder.

Maybe something funny for Thai readers. If I use the English language, I see the names of the Thai cities in Roman script, if I use the Dutch language though, I see all the names in Thai script. I didn't yet ask my wife if all the names are correct, but as far as I can read thai, I can read Krungthep (=Bangkok)

I am pretty sure you have to turn of your internal GPS in your telephone settings menu. Settings->Connect->Position (not sure of this menustructure). Maybe turn on bluetooth menu in the same menu.

1 place all the folders in the root of your memory card (2577 not needed with symbian)
2 copy the files from the SKINS folder to overwrite the ones in the Res/Skin folder
3 start and complete the install file
4 download and transfer maps to the maps folder
5 Use Sygic 7.71.mlm for 7.71 program. Use Sygic 2009 for Sygic 7.7 program, find the original on your memcard and replace as appropriate
6 start McGuider on yr device and activate maps with TRIALKJPWLWQZ
7…… have fun!!

Put the folder with your map (renamed to the 3-letter-name of the .pak file inside) in the "map" folder in the root of yr SD.

You must have previous Sygic program removed, before installing new program. Please read instructions completely. This program works, you must be doing something wrong. Please PM with steps taken and I will try to help you.

I have romanian map, an when I press the the letters of the street, from the first letter sygic takes me to the second menu - so I'm not able to type any street !!

7.72 works fine

Ive tried everyway I can to get this to install but it will not find the activation code....Ive added it as a txt file....Ive tried to activate through the program and it refuses to even do it...maps are in the map folder...everything is done....have changed all files needed in skins...changed the MLM file...Im using the 7.71 version....compared to the old mcguider this one is a pain in the **** to get to work.

Never mind....found that in the license.txt you need to put an _ (underscore) before the key.

On my HTC Touch HD (WM 6.5), the version in WindowsMobile directory does not run but the one in WindowsCE directory runs. The only drawback is that when I create a shortcut to the one in WindowsCE directory, the icon for Sygic does not show up. Anyone has a solution for this?

Hi guys, I need a little help:

I installed Sygic, everything works perfect, but I got all Sygic images (.bmp and .data files) in phone's images galery (N 5800 XM).
I made them 'hidden' and 'system', and now I don't see images, but instead I got a lot of unreadable files named "records" in galery!!!
Does somebody has a solution? Please help. Thanks.

After a great effort, it seems that I've successfully managed to install the program and it now works!!! I found the instructions incomplete but the program rocks!! Many thanks to jmermel for this post :thanks:.

I saw that some people are still sruggling with the installation till now :oom: so I've done a simple easy step-by-step procedure for doing this. Here it is...:



To install Sygic Mobile 7.71 on wm6 ppc, please follow the following easy steps:

1. Extract the contents of the archive 'sygic_mobile_7.71_build_3268.zip' in the root of the storage card.

2. Delete the files that are related to to symbian platform phones (for example, 'SetupSymbianS60.sis') from the root and from the 'Drive' folder too, just to save some space.

3. Copy and replace the contents of the 'skin' folder in the '\Storage Card\Res\Skins' folder on the ppc.

4. Copy and replace the 'Sygic Mobile 7.71.mlm' file in the 'Maps' folder on the ppc.

5. Create a text file with the name 'license.txt' in the 'Maps' folder on the ppc and paste in this 'TRIALKJPWLWQZ'.

6. For maps, download your desired package from post #1, extract the map folder and its contents in the 'Maps' folder on the ppc.

7. Disconnect device from pc. Setup will run automaticaly. If not, run 'SetupWinMobile.exe' from ppc.

8. After installation and soft reset, run the program from the programs menu, select your language, select your map, go out and get a clear sky view, wait for a valid GPS signal and then start navigating!!

9. Enjoy!!!

New installation, no previous installation of sygic on my HD2 :good2:

Program runs well; if I plan a route no problem, everything runs fine, but I don't know why, when I begin to drive up to 60km/h, the error appears...

If I'm in traffic jam, and drive without exceeding 50km +-, the program runs perfectly...:oom:

Someone please an answer :oops2:

Try program without any favorites, speedcamera files...

Meanwhile, I tried the version 7.72. It seems that this version is more effective but I have with this version another problem :oops2:

To launch the app, I have to execute the .exe from the windows CE directory. If I try to launch the one in the windows mobile directory, it makes same message error than the 7.71 version.

The program runs well but the windows Taskbar and the little keyboard sketch on the bottom of the screen is still visible...

Someone for an answer ?

Hi,anyone kind enough to upload or provide alternative for "McGuider Sygic 7.71 build 3630 and instructions" and Singapore Map. FileFactory is impossible to DL, has been trying for the past couple of weeks.

After a great effort, it seems that I've successfully managed to install the program and it now works!!! I found the instructions incomplete but the program rocks!! Many thanks to jmermel for this post :thanks:.

I saw that some people are still sruggling with the installation till now :oom: so I've done a simple easy step-by-step procedure for doing this. Here it is...:



To install Sygic Mobile 7.71 on wm6 ppc, please follow the following easy steps:

1. Extract the contents of the archive 'sygic_mobile_7.71_build_3268.zip' in the root of the storage card.

2. Delete the files that are related to to symbian platform phones (for example, 'SetupSymbianS60.sis') from the root and from the 'Drive' folder too, just to save some space.

3. Copy and replace the contents of the 'skin' folder in the '\Storage Card\Res\Skins' folder on the ppc.

4. Copy and replace the 'Sygic Mobile 7.71.mlm' file in the 'Maps' folder on the ppc.

5. Create a text file with the name 'license.txt' in the 'Maps' folder on the ppc and paste in this 'TRIALKJPWLWQZ'.

6. For maps, download your desired package from post #1, extract the map folder and its contents in the 'Maps' folder on the ppc.

7. Disconnect device from pc. Setup will run automaticaly. If not, run 'SetupWinMobile.exe' from ppc.

8. After installation and soft reset, run the program from the programs menu, select your language, select your map, go out and get a clear sky view, wait for a valid GPS signal and then start navigating!!

9. Enjoy!!!
