I have my Go710 working with Navcore 8.310 and all the maps, ALG, ASR is working except Text to Speech!

I have been reading through the threads here for hours and I still cannot get this TTS to work!

Can someone please put together a Tutorial on how to enable this?

It would be great to also have links to the needed files and CLEAR instructions on what to do.

I have downloaded 2 different Simon Computer voices one about 40mb and the other about 250mb but after placing these files into the LoquendoTTS folder neither actually works!

So very clear instructions is needed and it would be great if someone could put that together in this post as there is no real proper tutorial on how to do this properly anywhere on this forum that I could find!

I actually have now been able to work it out so for anyone else that is having issues:

I got the correct file from this thread:

1. You need to download the LoquendoTTS folder - with Kate voice

Then extract it to your local harddrive.

2. Remove any LoquendoTTS directory on your TomTom.

3. Copy the LoquendoTTS folder from the file extracted above to your TomTom root.

4. Restart TomTom and then Change to Kate Computer Voice in Voice Preferences on TomTom.

5. Enjoy TTS! And I hope this helps people...
