A member can choose any content he feel is popular and useful to users as an entry to advertise iPmart.
He can for example create images (i.e., wallpaper or theme),
flash files, videos or ringtones that should include the
iPmart logo to show his skills and creativity.

A member is allowed to put in multiple entries
in various contents

Users can change their submitted entries before the deadline.


IMAGE


Minimum size for images is 640x480 and maximum at 800x600;
Images can be jpg, png or gif format
Attachment entry should be archived (in RAR or ZIP) and the image uploaded in a hosting site (to display the image) before posting as an entry

VIDEO


The video should be uploaded to a video streaming site like youtube, metacafe etc;
Link of video should be added into your post as an entry
Maximum length of video should be 1:30 minutes.

Ringtone


Added in the attachment as archive;
Maximum size of 1 MB;
Maximum length of ringtone is 45 seconds.

Winner : $100 with a winner logo for 1 year
2nd rank: $50
3rd rank : $30

Payment Mode - Winners will receive their prizes via their PayPal accounts. In the absence of a PayPal account they can opt to use the money to shop at iPmart.Com. Prizes will be net of all legal and/or shipping charges.

Timing of Entry Submission and Selection:

Competition will start on 6th April and all entries will be accepted until 4th May, 2009.
The iPmart Team will validate/assess the entries and select the top ones and make them available for voting from May 11 - 24, 2009

1. Admins reserves the right to verify the entries and disqualify them as necessary. Non-original entries will not be accepted.

So, you can create a symbian theme for advertising ipmart ;)

Themes, wallpaper, animated flash, music, etc. all acceptable.

hmmm... nice! i think im going to enter my Gdesk theme here, i was about to share it after im finished designing it, why not get a price for it if ever :D (wishful thinking)

2] What type of ringtones accepted? means wav, midi, mp3 ??
3] whats the min/max resolution for video files? means 800x600, 1024x768 or any resolution is ok ?
4] What type of videos accepted? means avi, mpeg, wmv ??
5] If we use sounds, songs, or any other music for video is that ok? means if i use any movie sound track for video background is that ok???

For file limit. i said in upper post. no more than 10mb. but sometimes 10 mb is less for a good video or audio files. so u can host ur files on other hosting then share the link here. but u must also prepare a files for preview.

Example u make a files in avi or mpeg (30mb). then upload ur original files on rapidshare or any hosting and then share the link here. and second thing to do is make a preview for member. maybe u convert into avi or 3gp to reduce files size.

really sorry but i m not satisfy with ur answer. I understan that if d size is bigger then 10mb then i have to use rapidshare or any other host site but what about video streaming site like youtube, metacafe etc; If i m right then u want to say that i have to upload preview file on utube which is low in size & i have to provide high resolution file on rapidshare or any other host site? if my main video size exists limit of 10mb is that ok or i m going to disqualify...plez help. I want to follow rules & don't want to disqualify..Thanks for help.

Check the rules no.3 for video..
Maximum lenght for video was 1:30 minutes..no limited minimum time.
So up to u(wanna less then 1:30 mnt it is ok)n check other member submittion.
Then u can get a clue on it :)

ya i check that rule but my video is going to small approx 30sec for size approx 15mb is that ok??? its possiable to me to make 1.30 min video but size is going very high. video is in ntfc 30fps so 30 sec means 900 frames. stratching 1 frame for few more seconds is ok but that increases size of video. so finally i just want to confirn that 30sec, video is legal entry na? Bro...u asking same thing over n over
First : Size is unlimited so it was up to u
2nd : Not allowed exceeded 1:30 Minute ,below that is ok.
3rd : Remember to upload ori video if u resize n got bad quality video to freehosting site such as Rapidshare,MegaUpload,Mediafire(recommended).
Last : give Preview ur video which already upload it to Youtube/metacafe/whatever ,then paste the links in post..

Check the rules !!! Stated clearly there..as long not breaking one or more of that rules,ur submition is accepted..Read the other member post,so can be example for ur video

Is that compalsory??? i check all entries some entries having user name & some not so confuse. as on some other sites user names on entries is must so just plez answer this last question.
