Hi Everyone,

I am new to this section...i have global sat BT 338 bluetooth GPS receiver.....and my pc has win Xp...I have downloaded garmin mobile pc 5.00.60 version....and i have downloaded India map named as gmapsupp.img which has both asia and australia maps. The thing is when i start my Garmin pc it receives the gps signal it shows my position but when search for maps in map set it doesn't shows any map.. I have copied that downloaded file gmapsupp.img(above 400 mb) in to the installed folder ie c:/GarminMobilePC....

PLEASE TEACH THE CORRECT WAY FOR USING THIS GARMIN PC SOFTWARE...I NEED STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTION.

And I have downloaded mapsource 6.13.7 ...also ..when installing it asks for previous version...

I am really confused...Hope you will Help me out .

2. re-install net compact framework 3.5

maybe try with some older version of CoolCamera
there's no other alternative camera app with this functionality and there's no such thing like 'smile recognition software'; this is part of the digital camera firmware

ok... short and sweet... I am looking for an app the could possibly loop a song back into a phone call...

I don't know how many times I was on a phone call,and someone would say they haven't heard a song... now 9/10 times, I have it on my phone. But if I'm on it, with current apps, I cannot play it for the caller. I know some apps continue to play songs, but mute them, in favor of the call, but what if there was a program that could loop them back into the phone call, on command of course.

Firstly, i installed ActiveSync 4.5 (lastest version already), thing went well!
some days later it did not work with my Device: I-Mate 9502 (cannot connect), so i removed and installed again, and the fault appeared like this ( during installing): C:\WINDOWS\Installer\84db79.msi

So i launched microsoft and got this file to fix it: WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe
Set up that *.exe file, restarted PC, then downloaded another ActiveSync 4.5 again, and the following Error appeared: C:\WINDOWS\Installer\4fd67.msi

I've got myself a second hand Xperia X1i and I'm trying to get the optical joystick to work without any luck. I've enabled it in "settings/system/optical joystick" but it won't work.

Am I missing something or am I doing something wrong, or is my optical joystick maybe broken.
I can see a little red light on my action button, maybe it indicates something.

I'm trying to find the newest TomTom app and North American maps for Palm OS, but searching for tomtom palm appears to find threads or posts with *either* term *or* both. I tried using AND as a boolean operator, then I tried + signs but the results were always the same, a list chock full of threads about the PPC version.

This looks like a great place to find all kinds of goodies for my Life Drive (39th birthday present!) if I can just *find* what I'm looking for.

I have an HTC tilt - kaiser - TyTN II

and with internal gps and i can get unlimited data

So i have tried garmin and igo 8
they're both pretty good. igo is fast and nice, but garmin has traffic and weather.
Does igo have that too?

Any other good softwares you can recommend? And features?

Its not an iPhone, so no.

If the software comes in a cab extension just copy to the device and install from there...else install as usual.

It seems my UpToDate 16.3 expired on Aug 1st and now wouldn't startup to the search page unless I revert the time on my phone back to a date prior to 01/08. All I get now is a message that says something like: "UpToDate expired: please renew your subscription".

no, there's no video converter installed on PPC; just copy recorded movie to PC and convert with any video converter

...I've kicked my butt, trying to find some cool utilities, to make my OMNIA TOTAL-FINGER-FRIENDLY! I want to get rid this damn stylus!
So... except S2U2 (or AutoLock Screen for WM 6.5 - a perfect locker!) and except a nice UI (Manila 2D? PointUI Home 2? SPB 3?... I didn't choose yer one of them, I need a couple opinions), I'm searching to find out cool "finger-friendly" utilities, for EVERY POSSIBLE "field" of OMNIA phone!
Perhaps a "finger-friendly" browser/explorer? Perhaps, if it's "user-friendly" except "finger-friendly"...
But, the MAIN ISSUE is to find something to "deal" with the "Windows scrolling bar" on the right of the menus!!! I hate trying with the stylus to point on the scrolling right bar (for instance, in Resco Explorer or... in CONTACTS!) to go down or up... Especially in menus like Contact's, like Programs's... I want a decent utility to giving you a NICE BUTTON ON TOP RIGHT, to "grabbing" it and SCROLL DOWN/UP pretty much fast!!!
I've tested a nice Rom of the "cooker" TARIL, 2 weeks ago... The Rom was fine, but I found a great ULTRA LIGHT Rom from another "cooker"... THAT TARIL's Rom, HAD THIS NICE "finger-friendly" utility (with the up-right "button"), in EVERY POSSIBLY menu!!!

Does anyone knows what I'm talkin' about??? Any links?
Any thoughts/ideas for my "goal", to make OMNIA perfect "FINGER-FRIENDLY" phone, without stylus need?

technically impossible - if you doesn't have to much free ram, try to close/deinstall not used applications. Also check Startup folder in MyDevice/Windows/..., maybe there are some unnecessary apps starting with Windows.
