I have a Go 710 with Firmware 8.204.
I use the device with X30 emulation.
I however cannot get TTS.

I have to say that I used the same file on my GO 520 and that it works like a charm.

Really strange....
Check if there is no "ttsoff" switchfile on your tomtom's root folder nor in setconfig.txt file on root or "config" folder.
Check also your LoquendoTTS folder, you can use the Loquendo version 6 (full or compressed voices) or the Loquendo version 7. They both work.

I just have downloaded the full TTS files originating from the Go 910.
I will give a try later this evening.
