So can I use this with my Garmin Nuvi 360? I think I have the 2009 maps in it. If i can use it, should I get the msi or image version?
And what is the difference between the locked and unlocked image?

I'm using Garmin XT, at first i've problem unlock the map to be used in the mapsource.

Follow this link to install the mapsource

After you install the mapsource, install the Map file.

Unlock the map using Garmin Keygen, get it here or anywhere else

Run the keygen,under the mapset:choose custom mapset and enter mapid:450

Run unlockwizard: Key in the code generated from the keygen

Run Mapsource: You able to select area of interest and upload to your GPS unit

IMG file is just for device only, ready to be transfered to it. If you want to use the map in mapsource, you have to download the mapsource format.

I'll be honest I have no clue what I am doing! Does any one know if I can update a Garmin StreetPilot c330 with these maps? And how I would do it?Thank you

Ok I got Garmin City Navigator North America v2010.10 NT unlocked into MapSource now how do I update the GPS?

Well, I tried it out. Its kind of complicated and I dont know if I made the best choice. So after installing MapSource, and the North America maps, you go to Start->Programs->Garmin:unlockwizard, and put the code you get from the fivedigit keygen (this you get by choosing custommap). Then you go back to mapsource, and the maps will be unlocked.
This is where the doubt starts. You see the maps on the right. The only way I could figure to put them on the device is select by making a square around them. Then they appear on the left. Only after that you pres the icon with the arrow pointing towards the device.
Then it told me that there is not enough space on the Garmin Nuvi. So I went to the Garmin nuvi on the windows explorer and deleted the biggest file. (I assume you could select the Memory card to install, but whats the point of having 2009 and 2010 maps?)
Went back at the Mapsource and it took about one and a half hour to upload the maps. It finishes ok, but when I go to the Gps to check the version of the maps it shows North America 2010 and under it a bunch of states. The 2009 maps, showed North America and "ALL" under it. This makes me think that maybe it does not cover all the states. Any feedback on this?

i got a weird problem. I have nokia n95 8gb so i use garmin mobile xt. The north america 2009 maps are working fine on my n95 but the 2010.10 is not. what i mean is that 2010.10 maps are not detailed ( i cannot see any roads on the map, no voices,). i instaled it using mapinstall but its not working. when i put back the 2009 maps everything is perfect again. please guys, any help will be appreciated!

I am having the same problem, I installed Ontario province on my phone but once I loaded Garmin mobile xt , the map started showing in crossed lines ; this is only happen in Toronto Area which where I live . Otherwise, the rest of Ontario cities are fine. :(

You must have done something wrong because it works for me in Toronto just fine. Looks like it updated that mess of new highways in Stoney Creek too.

The map is for all SUA, but if you use mapsource version you can select the region you want and send it to your device.

Maps are the same for all devices. There are no maps for mobile or other devices, just Garmin Maps.

Hmmm? This map set put me about 20 -30 meters off my spot. I went back to 2009 map set and all is fine.:D
