How to install Mapsource version:
1) remove any other version of Garmin City Navigator Europe 2010.10 for Mapsource
2) install Mapsource v6.15.4
3) Unrar all the files in a dir
4) Run install.bat that you find in the dir choosen early
5) Run Mapsource and if ask for a serial number, just use one for the MapID 449

If you want to uninstall Garmin City Navigator Europe 2010.10 , simply run Uninstall.bat

How to install Mapsource MADE BY Ipmark_ITA :
(taken from the italian section, here ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

1) Download Mapsource from here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]):
2) Unrar it and run MAIN.msi
3) Run setup.exe
4) Install at least one Garmin map
5) Run Mapsource
(6) if you want to send the map not only to a USB unit, but also in the dir \Garmin of an hard disk , then download Mapsource.exe patched from here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) and overwrite the original.

if anyone want to make a torrent will be ok. I will not,because will be slowly while i hit ~300kb/s using http links. So doesnt make sense making something slower!

2. Download the jetmouse key generator.

3. Get your Garmin GPS 10 digit unit ID number by turning on your GPS and going to system settings then "About" and you will see the ID number. Alternative way is to plug your GPS into your computer and go into the Garmin folder and you will see a file called GarminDevice.xml, open it and you will see a 10 digit number right in the first few lines of code.

4. Open the jetmouse 1.5 keygen you downloaded, then copy and paste your 10 digit unit ID number into the first field. Then where it says "Select Map Product," go to "Custom Mapset" and enter "449"

5. There are two "Generate" buttons, click the bottom "Generate" button to get your map unlock code, you do not want to click the top generate button because that generates a software unlock code, which you do not need.

6. Copy (Ctrl+C) the map unlock code to your clipboard, then create a new text file on your desktop (Right click on desktop, new, text document) and paste (Ctrl+V) the code into it, now save the text file as "gmapsupp.unl" After you save it using that extension, you should not be able to open it anymore since it's no longer a text file unless you choose to associate .unl files with notepad.

7. Get a 2GB or more SD card and format it FAT or FAT32, create a folder on it called "Garmin" then copy and paste the "gmapsupp.img" file in this torrent along with the "gmapsupp.unl" you created into the Garmin folder on your SD card.

8. Insert the SD card into your Garmin GPS, and browse to your map information on your Garmin GPS and you should see the new maps selected. Tools>Settings>Map>Map Info. Make sure your old maps are de-selected, or it will show two POI's for an identical location.

i knew they werent for symbian thats why i didnt post them here , but im not sure on wich other systems are working probably nuvi or pc too.

so if you dont like them, dont use. No one force you to use them. Also im not payed to help you. I do just for free. Im not forced to give you other links. If the links arent working,as already told 10times,its because mediafire got problems . People probably posted these links all around the web so the mediafire servers are raided.
Others people (me too) have already downloaded them and using the map with no problems.

Just relax and calm down at the end,its only a map.

oki PLEASE seriously, quit . I just told you that lane assistants and 3dbuils are useless for symbian. Because are not working.Thats all.
I dont want to "fight" about these things. No sense at all!
Now i hope everything is clear and we can go ahead.

Hi All,

First I'd like to thank u to those that consumed their time and resources to make that available to us. People like Rober and others.
My question is a real simple one. I'm really happy to see that the final .Img file of the Europe City Navigator 2010 has only 1.5 G in dimension/size, comparing with the E C N NT 2009 which had 1.74 G. It's good to see that, as I had a only 2 G card on my E51 and it won't remain any space left for any other softwares or even travel guide for Europe which had 150M, now here comes the question - how come a newer map has a smaller size then the previous one? What are the prices we pay for this smaller size - personally - I'm really happy with that - just wondering if this difference comes from better compressing algorithms or is it coming from loosing unnecessary information. Has anyone studied the releases for 2010 garmin maps - what's new and so on from the garmin website?

unpacked i get "gmapsupp.img"

but nor magic iso , nor deamon tools can read the file... altough the rar extracts just fine. Please help, what is the .img made with and how to unpack/burn ?

it's completely true, as the .img map files are used/recignized only for/by the Garmin devices - or symbian software. For the use on your laptop u need that Garmin City Navigator Europe 2010.1 NT (full DVD) and use mapsource or anyother softwares. The .img files r not to use on the laptop/IBM platforms.

I running garmin mobil XT 5.00.40 for s60 And I have copied the img file to E:/Garmin. I can go under tools -> Mange My data -> Map Sets and I see 3 maps.
1. Worldwide Roads Basemap E:/garmin
2. Detalied maps Built-in maps
3. Detalied maps E:/Garmin

How do I change map in the software (It only uses the basemap)?

Just want to say thank you very much :thanks:to all the guys who provided this Europe map. A+ to your reputation. I have it downloaded and installed on my Garmin 255W.

Do you have a North America Map for Garmin 255W? Please use mediafire. A lot better than any free sites. I don't have any premium account.

A little problem with map source installation. I can't open map source after installation.(there is an error opening it).

if someone got the same problem?

Does this include all maps in Europe? (does it include MALTA? - MALTA is in the very south of Europe)

and when I download everything all i have to do is copy the img file to e:/garmin?

not sure got coverage for Malta too, you have to try by yourself sorry.
(anyway around i see "Garmin Malta" so think will not have...)

Yes just copy the big .img file and you're done no need to do anything else!

some unskillfull people can not use it and than links are bad, this is bad, that is bad.you people, you are bad, you are problem.you are parazits and you dont have respect the people who put them here (you are acting like, they have to put )(you are acting like they have to help)you people used to get everything ready from your mom so you want it everywhere everytime.you have to spend time you have to search little...

for the kids who are crying all subject and new people who has respect i will try to explain little bit how it can work.

The links and everything works great. i download it from mirror on megaupload, it was 5part and one by one i download and than i double click to first part and write the password (password is ViSiT-IPMART-FoRuM) and it just create a img file on my desktop 1,59gb. than i open my garmin keygen generator 1.5 (you can understand you need a garmin keygen generator)write my gps id number (you can find it in menu/settings/system/about/unit id)and select custom map and write 449 the small window will open automaticly.click the generate button which is bottom (bottom is down :))and there will be a code copy and paste it on notepad and save it as a unl file.unl file and the map which is img file copy them to my sd card where i already create a folder named garmin.

The map is already unlocked, it no need of any unlocking file.
Simply put the gmapsupp.img file in Garmin folder of the nav/SD.

To decompress, you must use Winrar, other similar utility doesn't work properly.
If you haven't, you may download it from here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]).

Do all these links still work porperly?

I've downloaded the 14 IMG files twice now. Using Winrar coperate, I always get an error message saying one of the files is corrupt. It's normally a different file everytime and I've tried downloaded the parts which ahve caused an error and it still comes up with a diagnostic error.

To do it I've been selecting the 14 files, right clicking, and then selecting extract files. Is this correct to join all the files together?

I also downloaded the 5 mirror files and have the same problem.

just open the first one (part1) and then extract to wherever you want.
Also check to have a pretty recent release of winrar

Yes, you can and there is, but you have to look for it in windows mobile section. Maps are the same, you can use them from this section, probably you will find more here.

Hi. Please help I would like to download city navigator 2010 I have city navigator 2009 so I would love to update the maps. I have spend a week downloading from this site: link deleted
It was a total waste of time I downloaded 65 files and I can’t do anything with them! it just asks me for a code on the gamin maps software installation useless!
So please can somebody help as I would like to know what to expect! Before I download a bunch of files that are as good as nothing.
Is there a way to just copy the 2010 map image or do I have to install the software on my pc and let it install its self? In order to update to 2010 city navigator maps.
