step by step tutorial for TTOne (tested on V2) with Navcore 8.412

Here you have all the files you need, less your map.

Make sure the map is compatible with 8.4xx navcore. Check the chart first.

BT is off from config\setconfig.txt. Use these settings or play with them.

VocalizerTTS working, ALG (on 2GB maps) and IQ routes.

Instructions for TTHome included.

It's a verry clean install, my TTOne v2 boots up faster.

It will work on 1GB SD card(TTOne v3) but without ALG and IQ routes.

These two are both the same, should they be?
2nd one says patched with Vocaliser TTS but cant find a folder for it.

VocalizerTTS added as megaupload didn't want to take the second rar file (Navcore 8.412 with VocalizerTTS included)

I have been using lessrams V8204.971 for a while now with great success.
I have put this 8412 version on another SD card but cant see any advantage.
Perhaps someone could tell me if there are any benefits.
I am using V8 maps with IQ routes enabled and TTSvocaliser Voice Samantha.

I thought I would try LoquendoTTS but that doesnt work.
I tried Kate and you have to reboot because no voice then works.
Also blue tooth is greyed out where 8204 actually worked.
8412 enables FM transmission, but TToneV2 doesnt have FM transmitter so thats a waste of time.

BT is off from the configsetings.txt. You can turn it on if you need it? Do you use BT on a TTOne V2? What do you do with it?

When I launch a demo, the synthetic voice slow down and block the hanging demo when speaking.
I use TT ONE V3 with navcore 8.412 and 8.25 map.

Don't forget that our devices weren't designed to do TTS. You nedd 366MHz and higher or 64MB RAM.

On my ONE V3 + navcore 8.412 + map 8.25

- TTS is working with emu : iq1 & iqxls
- brightness 0% is not 100 % black
- automatic mode day/night is OK

Fixed suspend bug, should help all models

when i change model text to iq1 do i need to add anything else in config folder at the moment i only have model text with iq1 and bton text in there?
cant see any changes after i add iq1 to text.tryed x40light3 seems to work.
could someone tell what folders they have in there config folder

You've got to modify in \config\setconfig.txt
line :
model:iq1

The image works fine. I am using iq1, but the speedcam warning does not allow to use my own word anymore (I was using NC 8.011), only allow choose default sound. Anyone know can this feature make it available in this NC 8.412.

:urtheman: Thank you so very much. Worked perfect for a beginner at this, on a TT One not sure the version but it's 30 series 125/130 1GB if that helps, no sd card slot in it. Used map U.S. Canada 835_2423. Bought this with only US on it and not giving me street names, since I'm a new driver, live in Canada and am a single mom with two boys fighting in the back seat, this was a big deal for me. No time for reading streets on the TT while driving. After 2 weeks of reading and playing around with different files, I finally found this. And it worked perfect.
