How did you create a backup?
franckdoc 27th April 2009, 01:50 I made it copy all files by internal folder from TT with show hidden files in proprierty folder.
When I transfer my backup into internal folder, after faild, everything work again. Then I suppose that backup is ok.

Great!! Leave everything on your internal. Copy everything on the internal, except the map/maps, and paste it in a created folder on your desktop.
Open the basicpack, rename the system5.5128 file to system by deleting 5.5128.
Copy everything in basicpack, except outsourced.8412, switchfiles.zip & Navcore.8.412.1236@tomtom.com. Paste it into your internal, overwriting the existing files. Copy the downloaded ttsystem file into you internal. Assuming that you have already patched your map/maps, you are done, except for setting up TT Home.
franckdoc 27th April 2009, 02:38 Sorry I think there was a mistake.
Everything work again with 8.302.
I made your advance but dont work. I apologized with you

Did you follow my instructions with 8.302 on your 630?
franckdoc 27th April 2009, 02:54 well
I made a copy of internal on my desktop except map;
renamed system on basicpack;
copied bascipack to new folder on my desktop;
copied ttsystem on newfolder
then copyed on internal overwriting existing files.
Right procedure?

I have no idea why you copied basicpack & ttsystem into a new folder on your desktop.
franckdoc 27th April 2009, 03:06 New folder is exact copy of my internal without map.
Than I upgrade with basicpack and ttsystem and replace with it the internal folder
Is the same like copy directly in tt630

That is all correct. Confirm that you started this procedure with working 8.302 on you 630.
franckdoc 27th April 2009, 03:35 Yes I confirm it

Is possible that there's a conflict with bootloader?
tendriver 27th April 2009, 03:44 Is possible that there's a conflict with bootloader?
No, the system5.5128/system file is the bootloader.
franckdoc:
Sorry

tendriver:
It's the quickest way to restore.
anrial 27th April 2009, 03:47 i have the same problem. updated bl to 5.5128, copied everything to internal, but nothing works. it just hangs on tt screen
tendriver 27th April 2009, 05:35 I have done this 25 or 30 times. There is something missing here.

ianc60 27th April 2009, 21:51 make sure that pndnavigator.exe is taken from the SE basicpack. The one in the original cab obviously does not like patched maps :-)
OlsMobile 28th April 2009, 16:39 Same problems on my TT630, although 8.412 works perfectly on 2 One and 1 New XL... Hardware non compatible ?
