So i have been living in the USA and am about to go back to the UK. There are several TV shows that i want to keep up with.
They have websites where you can catch missed episodes, but as i understand they are not available to watch from IP's outside the USA.
I have read a few things about using "proxies" but have no idea how or where to start.
Is it possible, can anyone point me in the right direction?
As an example, one show is called "the unit" and is available to watch on:-
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
PS Sorry if this is in the wrong section, wasn't sure which to place it in......it is an internet issue:confused:

I know the internet is world wide, but some sites block you if your IP is not from that region.
It works in reverse for me at the moment as there are a couple of things i have tried to watch from the UK out here but the sites block me, stating something like "you are outside of the region allowed".
Out of interest did you try to watch an episode after you got on the website, it may be than that you are blocked.

Well as i assumed i got a friend in the UK to try view the episode on the site and its blocked!
Thanks for your help, i knew the internet is worldwide, its in the title.
Unfortunately view videos outside of specific regions is not worldwide.
Back to the beginning, anyone know how to beat this?

dear mr_freeze - USE PROXY
WITHOUT PROXY
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
WITH PROXY
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
I live in Poland
proxy server, which I used: 209.191.82.40:80 (US, transparent)
it's only example. I think, that every proxy server from US will be good for this.
PROXY LIST ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

Try using HideIp / Proxyswitcher programs to assign US proxy servers while in uk.
