Hi I installed navcore_SE_8.300.9732_basicpack on my tomtom go 300.
I put this map on: Western_Europe_1GB 825.2159

Then I used easytools and it worked, rebooted my tomtom and it sais Problem with map. You can't use this map on this nav system.

I followed the steps:

Installing Maps
Disclaimer: You can install whatever maps you choose, but for this Guide we are going to use North America 815.2019 because they are the latest maps available for my area, however if you have a larger card and would like to use different or additional maps it really doesn’t matter. You can search the forum listed on the first page of this guide for various different maps or I have uploaded the North America 815.2019 Maps already. This map has the required files to install Text to Speech – spoken street names. The Patcher for the maps included in this torrent, is the same as the one included with those maps, so you can skip downloading them if you choose.
1. Before copying the maps to the TOMTOM device make sure to rename the folder the map data is stored in to remove any spaces. (i.e. North_America as opposed to North America) The Patch program will not recognize spaces.
2. On your TOMTOM, open the ttgo.bif file in notepad and write down your Device ID (note if this info is missing from your file repeat steps 8-11 under Install NavCore)
3. Now copy the entire folder to the root of your TOMTOM. Depending on the size of the map, this could take 30 minutes to an hour or longer.
4. Now open the file easytools.rar and extract its contents to your hard drive.
5. Open the folder easytools and run the file RunMeforDCT.cmd and choose Option 1 – Run it for Navcore 8.010 and higher
6. Now select Option 2 – Run Keygen for all Maps on your TTDevice
7. Now choose the Drive assigned to your TOMTOM – My case it is K.
8. Enter the Device ID you wrote down in step 2 WITHOUT SPACES and press ENTER.
9. You should see the following message.
10. Now run the file RunMeforMetaKey.cmd and Choose Option 1 - Run it for Navcore 8.010 and higher.
11. Now choose Option 1 – Run Mapcheck for all Maps on your TTDevice
12. Choose the Drive letter assigned to your TOMTOM – Mine is K.
13. You should see something similar to this.
14. Map patching is complete. Power off your TOMTOM and unplug from your PC and reboot. Follow steps 2-4 under preparation to verify your Navcore version and your Maps.

Have you changed the ttsystem or patched the ori ttsystem with yGD-Tool?

easyusetool to create a dct file for your map and copy to your TT maps folder.

you also must use a cracked TTsystem file that matches you version of navcore and install on your TomTom device.

also if interested, to operate your TT from your pc using TT HOME you must use the cracked dll file for your HOME program.

Ok I won't.
I put SE_ttsystem.8300.9732.rar on so I need to patch that one with the yGD-Tool?

I haven't used the yGD tool, but if it has an option to patch the device use it.

if not, download a patched ttsystem file that matches your navcore.

sounds like it's patched.

have you rebooted your device ?

if it still can't use your map

have you created a dct file your your maps ?....meaning have you patched/cracked your map ?

It boots so that looks like it worked, but it just freezes and reboot if I touch the map of my tomtom. the map with the arrow on it.

Ok I'll try to get the latest version of tomtom home and then patch it and then put the maps on.
