Is there anyway to get the speed limitations to work ? No visual or audio warning for overspeeding in Canada.

Hi there, check these instructions they may help you solve your length of journey.

Go to menu, Go to Settings, Go to Route Planning, look at Route Calculation Method, just underneath will be a window showing, Fast, Easy, Economical, Short. Take your choice and this should change the length of route chosen.

The only other thing I can think of is changing the "type" of route selected.
It's a while since I've been to Singapore but I seem to remember some of the roads have some restrictions. You may achieve something by changing the types of route allowed to be used.
Failing that imigrate to Australia all our routes are really really really long.
