I have been asked a few times for a working truck dump. I have a Go300 with WCE 8.15.2112 truck map and a navcore 8070. I have stripped out the BIF files as they seemed to contain personal info.

Mods, would you please have a look at this file to make sure that I have not left anything in that I shouldn't.

Regards

Cheers for this, I have put it onto my card, but I am getting the same problem as with the other SE version I have tried, it gets as far as the splash screen and then stays there.

Any help most appreciated.

Cheers.

The only thing I can think of that might be stopping it from working is your bootloader. Mine is 5.5106. I am no expert in this though and may/probably be totally wrong. There are many far more qualified than I on this forum. All I can say is that that worked for me.
You did take note that I took out the bif files didnt you? That might be whats stopping it from working, I don't know though.

Any chance of a copy of your bif files, you can remove the device id etc if you wish and I can refill those with my details.
I tried the bif from my other card with no joy. and same bootloader version so not that.
Cheers.

There you go. I hope it helps you and also proves that I have got the truck navigation working on my go300, if you were in any doubt.

I once had the same problem with truckmap on a GO500. I solved it by formatting the internal memory and then let TTHome install the original navcore. Then I put on the tomtom for one minute, put it off again en let TTHome overwrite the installed navcore with the latest original navcore for the device. Then I installed a small map like singapore or new zealand.
I cracked the map and started up the machine and went through the basic steps like language and other settings. After that the map was shown so that was ok.

Then I deleted everything again, installed truckmap and navcore cracked them both en surprisingly.... It started up and went through the splashscreen!!!

It must have been something in the workmemory that prevented the truckmap from starting up is the only conclusion I can draw from it!!

Maybe this will also work for you...

The strange thing for me is I have navcore 8.204 with full europe maps on another card and that works fine. The other problem I have is I cant connect to my tomtom to do as you say as the usb port is blown, happened years ago and hasnt worked since.
Must be another way to fix this, weird as 8.204 is working fine.

Well other than suggesting that you format your SD card and starting again from scratch, ie putting the dump from my unit and the bif files back on your card then the map and then cracking the map, I dont know what else to suggest. I do use a card reader to make the transfer of data quicker, usb 2 as opposed to 1.1 although I think you cant do that as your usb is kaput? try the reset button perhaps? I really don't know.
Regards and good luck
