I'm having difficulty identifying which Navcore can be used on a TomTom One XL V3. I have tried 8.070.9589 but the device just freezes. Does anyone know which Navcore can be used????

If you want the truck map you must have the truck navcore http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showpost.php?p=2644571&postcount=7

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I'm a bit confused here. I've dowloaded each of the files indicated below and tried both on the TT to no avail. I've then added the SE_ttsystem file but still no go.

navcore_8.070.9589.gox20.cab
navcore_8.070.9589.go530-go730-go930.cab
btw. both cabs are equal

16.01. new rev, with possible easier to use switchfiles
SE_ttsystem.8070.9589.rev.1.2.rar
SE_ttsystem.8070.9589.go630_gox10.rev.1.2.rar

Am I doing something wrong here or have I missed the point.

Confession time....so far I've only managed to install 8070 and the truck map on one XL with success, the other one I tried it on I failed miserably (even using a copy of the first successfull atempt didn't work).. you'll find it much easier to use navcores that are designed for your device before experimenting and pushing the envelope by seeing what else you can get to work on it.
You may also find dumps by other guys that have allready got it working if you're lucky by hitting the search button...

Thanks fr the reply.

A question, which navcore and ttystem did you use.

Do you know the role of the WCE 815 TRUCK.dlc

Thanks!

DLC files are simply links for downloading files,in this case to get the WCE815-2112 Truck map. They're encrypted links we create so that the location where the files are stored cant be wiped but you can still get to the files to download them. You'll need to use a program like "jdownloader" or "cryptload" to be able to use the dlc's to download the files that they're protecting.

As for what I used...I seem to recall I upgraded to the latest official navcore (at the time I think it was 8.010) and then overwrote with the files from the: SE_ttsystem.8070.9589.rev.1.2.rar and then finished off by cracking the map with easyusetools.:goodluck:

I've more or less given up. I've tried everything from 8.070 to loading 8.410 and then to use the 815.2112 truck map.

I did load Navcore 8.410 in the hope that it would pick up the functionality of the truck map but it didn't. The map runs but just as a normal 'car' map but no truck options.

Ah well!

Davey Crocket. You will find somewhere on this forum a truck dump that I made. OK, its for a tomtom Go 300, but it still works. Possibly limited functionality for you as well as you have a better unit than me, but it works.

Hi,

I am new to postings but having read the above posts I thought my info may help. I use the Trucking maps on XL's, various versions, and also on a 730.

The OS version I use on all is 8.070 and the Truck map is 815.2112. I copy all the necessary OS and map files onto a 2GB SD card and patch. I find that booting the device with the SD card inserted over rides any internal OS. Removing the SD card reverts the device back to the OS and maps contained on the internal memory, if the device has internal memory.

All work as designed and I have not experienced any problems, apart from me being stupid and not using Easytools to patch the ttsystem file, or the maps and cameras, or not naming the map directory correctly.

I keep a copy on another SD card and simply patch to any other device ID as required.

Yes, the version 815.2112 map is a little old, but by connecting to TomTom Home you can update the maps. When updating, cancell all dialog boxes so that you revert to the actual TomTom Home application, then select Update my Device from TomTom Home.

It would be really good for a trucker to also have the ALG version.

Most of my problems have been mechanical - they have been caused by the nut at the keyboard ! ! ! :goodluck:

Thanks for the reply.

Could you confirm which 8.070 was used as there appears to be a couple about?.

Hi,

I've tried the version navcore_8.070.9589.gox20 and this just hangs on the TT splash screen, I've also tried the GO300 option and similarly this also hangs.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong. Do I need to alter or add any files??

Could the bootloader version make a difference??.

:blast::blast:At last. Finally got it working.

I used NavCore 8.070.9589 SE ONE XL TRUCK. Ran it before loading the maps. Then loaded Western_and_Central_Europe_TRUCK_v815.2112. Patched the maps and TTSystem using TomTom Keygen v3.1C. I did get some error messages saying it couldn't find certain files but it did work. And hey presto, all is OK.

Many thanks to all those that helped me on my journey through this one.

David
