nicesoni_ash 28th May 2009, 18:07 Nokia Audiobook player (for listening books in S60 phone) v1.07.. Download (Sis file) ([Only registered and activated users can see links])
Nokia Audiobook Manager (for converting and transferring books)
Download MSI for your PC ([Only registered and activated users can see links])
Optional MP3 Decoder
Download MSI for your PC ([Only registered and activated users can see links])
Installation instructions
For Nokia Audiobook Player client on your phone
1. Download and install NokiaAudiobookPlayer_1_xx into your phone.
2. Make sure you have at least one audio book on your memory card.
* You can copy an audio book onto your phone using Nokia Audiobook Manager.
* However, if you choose to copy converted books manually onto a memory card, they must be located in the "/audiobooks" subdirectory under the root directory of the phone memory card (e.g. "e:/audiobooks”").
* The entire content of the book (audio files, index file and optional cover picture) must be located in the same subfolder of /audiobooks. The subfolder name may indicate the name of the book (e.g. "e:/audiobooks/TheBestSeller").
3. Start the player and select the book by selecting "Options" from left soft key and then choosing "Select book" from the list.
4. Start listening.
* "Select" (joystick down): start/pause book
* joystick left/right: rewind the book
* joystick up/down keys: increase/decrease volume.
If you exit the client, it will automatically save a bookmark and you can continue to listen from the same position when you start the client again. The bookmarks are book dependent, so you can listen to several books at a time.
For the Nokia Audiobook Manager tool on your PC
1. Download Installation file to your PC (NokiaAudiobookManagerInstallation.msi).
2. Double click the downloaded file to start the installation (if installation is not started automatically, set installation file focused and select "Open with" from mouse right key menu. Then select "Windows Installer" as an program to open the file)
3. Follow the installation instructions.
4. Start Nokia Audiobook Manager using the icon on the desktop or in the "Start->Programs" menu.
5. In case you want to convert audio books from MP3 files, you will also need an MP3 decoder, which can be downloaded e.g. from: here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]). (NOTE: "lame.exe" must be located in the same directory with the NokiaAudiobookManager.exe)
