If I remembered correctly, just download from Menu Download, then check license using internet, and IM+ will be registered automatically, it is really surprise to me. No way you will use without purchasing, that way I try to check license. Example mine, it said Expired on 3 March 2014.

miss that tool so bad, there is support for android, iphone and win mobile but the symbian versions are either expired or only work in the uk!

please post the styleTap app for 5800 you use .. is it the version for other 9.* phones !?

anyway if the file is .exe so install it on PC 1st ... it may need some PC applications installed on your hardisk 1st >>
if successfully installed , so go to the directory and copy all .prc and pdb files to your mobile on : E:\others\styletap\db
E:\ means you install styletap on memory card .. if you installed on C: so it will be on C: and the same extension ? clear?!

Most symbian smart phones have a decent image editor, and video editor. But there is no audio editor, which would be handy, and i don't see why they don't have one seeing as you can use the video editor on some S60 to export audio only mp4/3gp files.
I think the program myringtone can fulfil this need, but currently it only works with indian sim card 5800's.
Anyone know of another program, or how to get myringtone to work?

Also, i find the 5800 video editor to be limited compared to the one on my old 6120. You had more functions, such as merging multiple clips, multiple pieces of audio, multiple images, scene transitions, add text and select size and colour and movement options. Basicly it was like a small version of windows movie maker or something like that.
But the 5800 is so limited and restrictive. I don't suppose there's a way to install the 6120 video editor on it?

Hi there all.Nokia has released N-gage application for nokia N97 wich basically allows you to play N-gage original games...now what I'm asking is someone to hack the N-gage application so I can install it on my samsung i8910.All the specs of N97 and samsung i8910 are roughly the same(I currently have alot of games from N97 installed on my i8910 and works fine).
When i try to install the N-gage app it tells me that it is not compatible with this device(obvios reason,not a Nokia).So what I'm asking is to someone hack the app into making it think that my phone is a Nokia N97,not very hard i think.

The problem is that some characters such as ( and ) are replaced with different characters that I dont need. I must always press on sym and choose ( or )

I have the same problem. Dont think anyone can log in at all, its all because of Microsuck :oom: has changed something on their server that not allowing us to MSN mobile to login. You can use any other apps like Fring, nimbuzz, Ebuddy etc. Hope this help.

been trying to get this radio station on my nokia 5800 for ages.
unable to get it streaming via internet radio, or realplayer

was told to join 'MOODIO' website, where you can pick your favourite radio stations on yr laptop/pc then go to their website on yr mobile and load up talk sport radio from yr chosen stations.

On my N97 works cr***ed Nokia Maps version 3.0 for S60v3.

Anybody heard of an app that turns the screen upside down so when the phone is in car mount the power socket is at the bottom so it doesnt try to pull the phone over all the time. nokia 5800 xm

Same here. You can press the menu button whilst the phone ins locked, and the backlight will turn on like 10%, and if you squint you can read the time. But it's not really adequate, i rarely do this, i tend to just unlock the phone.

You can't? I can, using my 5800. There's a floppy disk icon in the paint pad tool bar, click on that to save. Also, it always asks me if i would like to save every time i exit the program.
What phone are you using?

There is a built in editor with the 5800 too, select an image in Gallery and press Options>Edit, then click on Options>Apply Effect.
Not sure what phone you're using.

I know there is an application for Symbian phones that enable you to browse the Internet like a classic PC by reporting to servers your identity as a PC, not a phone. That might be very useful when the mobile versions of some websites doesn't have the same content like the original version, for PC.

The Web Browser for Symbian is Skyfire. (it is for s60v3, but You can use it with N97) It will enable you to browse web site with PC like style. It works for Deezer !
Otherwise, try BOLT.

I really like "Remind Me" for 5800, it plays a sound every xx second and lets your leds blink very nice when you have a text message of missed call.

I found an app and am trying it out. There is a pretty large delay between when you call and when you receive the call but it seems to work with your native phonebook.

A text message reader and a compass and the ability to turn the screen round 360 Degrees would be really useful apps as when using maps the charging port is on the top and my cig charger in car is at bottom so it pulld the phone over all the time realy annoying thanks guys.

currently it still shows as 1.0.0 but is fully compatible with v3/v5.
