does it run slow or is it normal...and does the G1 need to be rooted?

this is a good port and it does work on the G1 has to have the correct board to load the SPL some G1 have it, like mine and other don't you can check it by booting into the bootloader. (G1 is the Dream) there are a lot better hero ports out there check out xda. This one doesn't even have the true rosie apk. there is no drag menu on the real rosie apk. These screens show a drag application menu on true rosie there is an + on right and an arrow to bring up apps on the left side. The clock isn't even correct there is no second hand on this clock and in hero there is. I had super hero 1 on my G1 and it worked, haven't loaded Super hero v2 which is what this is if the link is correct because twistedhero v6 is clean and more true to the hero build.

Go over to xda-forum and look up haykuro hero or any other there for full details you need haykuros latest spl from what I know this may for some if not done right brick your phone so use at own risk. I tried it and it worked kinda buggy but you can expect that already from a port. Waiting for ophone port though want the ubuntu beryl effect to home screen sooooo bad. If you don't know what I mean look up ophone on youtube. They are working on a port on xda already. Also for the hero builds since its too big for apps on phone I had to use ubuntu to place all the apps on thy ext3 partition. For full info on ports I use xda I use ipmart for apks
