Can you install COD file on the BB Bold without using DM or OTA?

you can copy the .cod files onto your memory card and launch the .jad file via your phone and it will install like OTA...if that's any help to you

i think normally file .cod will come with .alx. so how to get .jad file ???

Yes u can..aerize card loader can do it..first u need the aerize card loader installed,then put the .cod files n .alx files into /media card or /media card/loader ..remember to put all the files u have. Otherwise it may fail..next..go to the aerize card loader app..run it n u will see
"app name".cod.. Press menu,then load..done..the installation should be done.. Hope this helps..

Whilst for the jad file, I think there are some apps to convert .alx files to .jad files..u can google them..
Most apps usually only have .cod n .alx formats(I mean the ones u DL from the internet)
But if u hv .jad available. Then u just simply put the .jad file in the SAME directory as the other files that come along with the apps..n execute the .jad files through media n explore..
