I installed this version on my N97 and it is working except for one problem: when I look for an address it will be found but the adress is not displayed. I see a blanc field on which I can click and choose 'drive' or 'walk'. Very strange (and very annoying). Is this due to compatibility problems?

Same here. The same issue with POI's too: I see the icon, but no text displayed beside it. This is a deal breaker for me.

I got other questions. Is there any possibility to teach Ovi Maps new roads or directions ?? In city i am driving to job there are numbers of traffic diversions because road works. I got all information from city website about changes but how can i implement it to my mobile ?? Any ideas ??

Put the memory card in a card reader, plug it into the pc and it'll work. Had the same problem with my E71.

I think N958GB has built in 8Gb memory

First post file is corrupted. Yes! I unrar both parts...but an inner one then asks for another rar that is not available. Can't unpack it.

I use it with internet connection. If you have the maps installed for your country or whatever it uses bandwidth just to search for POIs. So it's not 100% free, it's about 98%.

1 Installed Ovi maps on the phone. when it asked, i deleted the nokia maps data.

2 Installed Ovi map loader on the pc and connected my phone. Selected My Country and then the voice.

3 When D'loaded and installed, i disconnected the phone and run Ovi on the phone, I went outside and got Satellite coverage. Pressed 0 to get my location.... ALL GOOD!

just tested 3 routes by car and 1 by walking, and it works great. Voice guidance latest maps works great...

extract the a b c files into another folder, then extract those files again, if file a is looking for another .r01 the look in the b file.

that's a common problem of winrar, if an archive you are trying to unpack is inside an archive with a very large filename. Try to rename both downloaded files before extracting and give them shorter names, say, "maps3.part1.rar" and "maps3.part2.rar". Then unpack them.

Yes, all the pois contained in the lmx file are stored as a landmark. All you have to do is to open the lmx file with a file explorer like xplore. I have stored all my favorites with this method.

I directly upgrade over Nokia Map v2.0 wk45 b03 illusion hacked on my N82 v20, then delete e:\cities folder and e:\qf file, and run Maps 3.0 and let it generate new cities folder, then close the application. Transfer the maps file and voice file to e:\cities\diskcache, under diskcache folder you will see folder 0,1,....d,e,f and some folders with voice name. Run the application, navigation and searching all are working great and faster than v2.0.

the file from elchirurgo is rather old, there is a newer beta on nokia betalabs. the file from elchirurgo is NOT cracked. for use on samsung, you still have to sign the file, as it just contains the nokia-certificate to install on nokia 5800xm and n97, as nokia doesnt want samsung-users to get nokia maps.

Guys, I need help...
After installing all the possible versions on my Omnia HD I decided to uninstall all the Nokia (or Ovi) maps, deleted the "cities" folder and the "lm" folder in order to install once and for good (until the next final version comes out) this 3.01 2602 version, but at some point of the installation I get the message that I must have the basic package installed.
I've searched a little but with no result.
None of the solutions that worked for the other people worked for me.
What now???

I need some help here mates! I had illusions version 2 installed with out any problems and recently tried to install this version on top of 2. My problem is that when I select a destination and click on drive, it just sticks on calculating and nothing happens. I reverted back to version 2 and it works just fine, but as soon as I install this version, I get the same problem of getting a dead end wait on calculating eben though I have full GPS signal.

Any ideas??

Zpecter has posted new "modified" versions for s60v3 fp2 and s60v5 based on CoDePDA s60v3 fp1 version. Both of them proved without problems. But IPMart administrator's have deleted that post and accused him to post same version as previous already posted.

Well, I have proved previous versions and any of them has run fine in my 5800XM. And Zpecter (CNSTeam) versions runs FINE! WITHOUT cuts!

Delete the cities folder from your E drive, start your Map application and exit it so that it will create cities folder again, attach your phone again to PC and see if that work, at least that's what I did ;)

Installed it, but when i try to add a map with map loader, it says that i dont have enough memory :S i already remove the cities folder, but it didn't work !

It's a matter of taste i think, all are good. Ovi uses gprs a lot, and this thing in roaming...not very cheap. But is a very good navigation system solution for our symbian phones.

This is the only version that really works for me, i have tried two other cracked versions (Nokia.Maps.v3.1.8.S60v3.SymbianOS9.x.Unsigned.Cra cked-DiL, Nokia.Maps.v3.01.2602.s60v5.SymbianOS9.4.Unsigned. Cracked.by.CNSTeam) but they are not working. I have NOKIA N958GB, V 31.0.015, 07-11-08, RM-320, hacked with HelloOX2 and every application works great.

In the ovi maps menu I have "Shop & licences" and "enter licence code" but not extra like the cracked beta version 3. I signed it with OPDA website and install License Manager 6.1. I was able to install it on my hacked Nokia N78 (Firmware 12.046) , but when i execute it, starts and shows the loading bar till arrives at about 80%, then just shuts down without any error.

So on my Nokia N78 is not workig.
