@qqq[Only registered and activated users can see links] that is only needed if you want to hack your mobile phone and you have a very old firmware. forget about that. sign the .sis file, and install it. nothing more needed.

hi why is it always saying on starting that incompatible licences found, connect to update server, it is really annoying...any suggestions to remove this pop up...i m using n79...any1 else also facing this problem

dont get that myself mate..what i would suggest is probably going into app manager and delete license manager completely. THen reinstall the maps app agian which should install license manager too ..nothing else mate that i can suggest.

Sorry to be so dumb but I downloaded the 2 files from the 1st post and tried to extract them, whichever I choose it tell me that the sis file (ovi maps) is corrupt nd doesn't extract it. What am I doing wrong seeing as other people seem not to have any prblems.

Successfully installed and will test soon. Just one thing to report which is
-Traffic Update is not working when online. It attempts to download the update and then does nothing. Hope this can be sorted.

I tried to install it over illsuion cracked version

same problem as many on 6220c . all fine up until using navigation when its ok to begin with but after a minute or so you disappear of the screen and the map stops scrolling .

got it working on an N82.

for maps u first need to use it online as much as u can...so it downloads the maps (see it at right bottom above near the sat. icon how much it has downloaded)...then u can use it offline, preferably use a wifi connection...

Same thing here. Installed on to N82 without any problems with latest UK maps but can't seem to be able to do a post code search offline ( no reason to need to be online to do a postcode search - this worked fine offline on the old v2 maps ).

It seems to be ok otherwise. Haven't tested navigation yet.

Remember to delete the "cities" folder once you have installed the sis file, open Ovi maps (this will create another cities folder) then exit.

No, you have to download Nokia Maps Loader and install it on your PC, then you will able to install all the maps you want from your PC via USB.

Ovi Maps navigates me into multiple directions at the same time.
I nearly had a road accident, because I was so confused. :confused:

Distances are miscounted too. A distance, which is 3km in reality, is calculated with 22km.

I think the best way to do the upgrade would be for you to manually delete all of the files of the previous installation.

They are not difficult to find but if you run into any problems i would be glad to talk you through. (hint: most of the files are named smart2go and you will find them in , resources/apps, resources/plugins, resources/, syb/bin, and in the private folder (forget the correct name for it))

Traffic updates are not working. They will need to redo the crack to get it working just like the first beta did.

that's because this version is NOT the right one for s60v5. it does work in navigation mode, but it doesn't show the text in the places menu, and it also doesn't work correct when scrolling the map.

we still have to wait for the correct version for the 5800 (s60v5)

Navigated a little today and (for now) i can confirm this is an excellent crack! :)

Maps are smooth, UI looks nice, and best of all free.

You should have deleted cities folder in your memory card as well as "QF" file.
Now start your Map application and wait until it loads in your phone until searching for position. At this point exit the Maps and connect phone via usb pc suite and start your Maps uploader.Select maps and voices. Just sit and wait.

i had the same problem like you on n79 and i found solution. you need to turn off automatic synchonization in maps settings. i turn it off and work fine and when i turn it on application automatic disappears.

I got only a problem with my old nokia maps installation trying to install this version. I got everytime "file damaged" or something like this. It was not possible for me to uninstall my old installation via program manager so I did a hard reset, and format the sd card. After this I hacked my phone again with the hellocarbide hack (attached to the nokia maps rar files from sandisk-1). Then I install simply with PCSuite.

I also downloaded Nokia Map Loader 3.0 to my PC and add some maps and voices to my phone. Also here no problems.

Today I tried navigation "drive to" about 1 hour and its working great. Its true that the 3d Buildings are missing ... but I don't need it so I can live with this "feature". ;) I didn't tested the traffic information yet, but other users already said that it doesn't work.

Nevertheless a great software and a great release.

It was the first one I installed, I just followed the instructions in the post.
I guess installing over another version is a bad idea.

Try uninstalling all of your Ovi stuff, and doing a clean install.
You can always download the maps on your computer with Nokia Map Loader,
and transfer them to your phone again, the few minutes transfer time won't kill you...

It is a know bug of Map 3.0. Search for "Nokia Maps 3.0 on 5800 and problem with external GPS" on gg you will find a post about it. To avoid this open a GPS application before Map 3.0

Personally I open the (N81) Nokia built in GPS apps in the Tools>connectivity folder. My menu is french but it should be "GPS Data" or "Placemark". No need

You still have access to menu (When BT blinking). You can disable positioning in the tools menu. Just a work around.

This version is for S60v3. The 5800 is a touch device, S60v5. So do not expect everything working... No text and small icons are a symptom, no proper scroll support too.

This version is the latest version. It was the first version out when it came off of beta.

Thanks for the clarification candyMan, i guess nokia still has a few bugs to work out then. This version crashes every now and then.

But it's a breeze to use and IMO a huge improvement over Maps 2.0 They probably need to support more 3D buildings though

When I try to install nokia maps v3.01 there's a warning about untrusted dev and protected application.
Before I've hack it with HelloOx the warning is about component's built in.

Please tell me the exact procedure for installation. I signed it and removed the version made by 'Dil' and tried to install but still it says 'base maps required'. Actually 'Dil' made a version for omnia HD which never asked for base Maps, but it has some bugs. Please see if you could do it the same way as 'Dil's.

Just installed CODePDA. And everything just went fine.

I didn't signed it 'cause my N82 is HelloOx 1.03 hacked.

Try to uninstall everything Maps related in yours. Uninstall. Delete maps folder. Turn off/on mobile.

Then install it.

Lazy as I am, I just use Nokia Maps Updater to install all necessary files; base map and map file. After it I install the CODePDA sis file without prob.

Installed the full version crack on my E71 and works fine. Firstly I installed the original version which wasn't cracked from the nokia version and then installed the crack version from codepda. As a result allvoices were installed and the maps installed as well. No need to use map uploadeer etc.

No, it is not!

Fast GPS, really fast!
Usually no more than 5 to 10 seconds. Even indoors. (on my N82)

Be sure in your mobile setting it is on to use assisted GPS.

(another info: just as fast as Sygic 7.71.5529 with assisted GPS)

hi, this version works with omnia HD without problems.

I was able to install nokia maps 2.45,3.0beta versions cr****d by illusion and also 3.1.8 cr****d by Dil. I did all i could to install, i did hard reset and removed the cities folder.
First it asked for the base maps so i installed Nokia maps 3.1.8 cr****d by Dil and tried to install v3.01.2602, now it says certificate error.

Please help if you installed it in your OMNIA HD, please let me know.I am eagerly waiting for a cracked version for omnia HD.

This version don't handle the safetycameras, i got the files but no camera-icons shows up to the screen and navigation don't warn of them. I have to say that illusion's version of the nokia maps 3 works better. After a fix of new voicefiles. Safetycameras and everything works perfectly.

Nokia Maps 3 doesn't support your N73. You only can use nokia maps 1.0.

workin on 5800 but still annoing bug after i search i can`t see the adrees just a small house if i click it and put do use that it works normaly.. and btw i think i still hap license manger installed..:) so a 60v3 worked better then the 60v5 vers the 60v5 the pointer did not follow the map the point remain out of the map and i contined navigating wierd..:) anyway the 60v3 works:)

First, you can uninstall the maps software as it is a system component, second, you dont need to install official first just sign and install v3 but dont run it yet. Go to your memory card and delete cities and qf once done run your map application and wait a few seconds until it says searching for position, at this point exit and download/install maps and voices.

There are two zip folders carrying file with the same name... which one to install
also lemme mention the steps.. correct me if am wrong
- install the sis file posted in this post
- install map loader from nokia official site and select the required map then install the map
- install voices from nokia official site

Cracked version DOESENT WORK wirh N95 8GB 20.0.016 firmware!

even if i sign the sis it say certificate error - same with hellocarbride installed!

1- Unpack the tools folder and send it's contents to your phone
2- Close any running application
3- Run X-plore and keep it running in the background
4- Go to Messaging Inbox
4- Install HelloCarbide.sisx and run it
5- Go to Options - Menu1 and keep pressing yes until it crashes
6- Use X-plore to copy installserver.exe to c:\sys\bin\
That's it,now you can install any unsigned release.

in order to use nokia maps on whatever phone i find that signing and hacking the phone you want to install it on, first you need to make sure you are installing just nokia maps 2.0 off the their website for example then install the final 3.1 or 3.x whatever it is it should let you. if you get the error it just means the signing wasn't sucessful i suppose. I'm saying that because when i was installing it on my phone i just downloaded the nokia maps 2.0 for n96 and that worked then the one in this topic and it installed just fine but i was using the installserver patch too. try it

Samsung is wuindows phone so this s60 app wont work . you need a ppc version or cab version

Yes mine is s60v5 i8910 omnia HD.Dil's version 3.1.8 is working but navigation is making a route and going off immediately.

I can't install. Downloaded the non-corrupted .sis from post #241 and the phone (6220c) starts installing but reports "update error".

I already updated maps 2.0 to official maps 3.0 and suspect this might be the problem. Sadly there is no way to downgrade but a reset. Does anyone have an easier work-around??

You can buy it. Honestly i don't see what the big deal is - the voice navigation works, what more do you want? We are lucky to at least have a working release, even if it is missing some of the "additional features".
The 3d buildings are really nothing but eye candy.
Just my 2 cents...

I have a problem, if i activate the "GPS Bluetooth" in the position locating method (in settings menu), nokia Maps continue to pop-up and pop-down the message to choose the bluetooth device to use. Anyone know how to fix this?

After testing .. I have an issue with my N95-1.

I cannot anymore use my contacts information.

In Options / "Look for" -> I have Adress or Places
. Places is the list of POI category
. Adress, is crashing the application, no more possible to enter an adress or to access my contacts information.

Installed on Nokia 5800 XM and working almost fine...
Why almost? Because all menus and buttons are smaller than normal. I had previously installed same version, Drive & Walk with 30-day license and I had the chance to compare both versions.
In the cracked version all menus are smaller and Search results are not displayed. All I have is the icon in the front of the address, but not the address. To find exactly what address is I need to click on all (or at least the first one) results one by one and choose Details, than Back and click again on the icon and than choose Drive.
It's really hard to navigate this way.
Also in the cracked version there is a Back button on the first screen that doesn't exist on the licensed version and the same Back button on Drive mode is occupying the same space with Transferred Data Bar.
The most important is that it works and the maps are every accurate and up to date...at least USA maps. Better maps than TomTom, NDrive, Sygic and Garmin....all tested.
I'll wait fo the next crack or maibe a keygen to register the original sofware.

I cant workout what is wrong as the voice is working fine but it just will not stay on.

Same problem here. Nokia 5800, hacked and running V30 FW

its running on my 5800.
BUT
no sync (okay guess its because nokia checks licence or something while syncing)

AND

when i search i do get results and icons. BUT next to the icon there is NO text.
Anyone had the same problem?

Do you mean version 2 or 3 as I would like to get mine up and running so I dont need to my N95 any more for sat nav.

I installed v3.0.0302 first and then ran the Nokia Maps Updater so that the updater will upgrade Nokia Maps to the latest version.

sooooo, i installed this version and it all went well. however, when i want to download maps, the nokia maps loader insists on me upgrading the version that is cracked which will delete the cracked version with a newer one.

Any solutions?

When I try to extract code-125.rar it asks for a password.

What is the password or where do I find it? I have looked in the nfo files but I don't see it.

I know I am missing something...

I installed this version on my N97 and it is working except for one problem: when I look for an address it will be found but the adress is not displayed. I see a blanc field on which I can click and choose 'drive' or 'walk'. Very strange (and very annoying). Is this due to compatibility problems?

But originally ovi maps is installed on my N97, so there is a working version for s60 v5. So that version is not cracked yet...?
