I know many of you are having problems to type in the serial number on NDrive 3.5.18. So, I have built a patch:

1) Install NDrive 3.4.23 (no way to install 3.5.18 directly)
2) Register the product and make sure it works (including maps)
3) Download the attached patch
4) Unzip and run lpatch.exe
5) Point to ndri3.ndr in NDrive/data on the memory card
6) Download and install undercode's 3.5.18 from [Only registered and activated users can see links]
7) Done. Run 3.5.18. It won't ask for the serial any more.

I guess if it didnt ring a bell for you then you probably dont have the problem. Many people simply can't type in the registration number after installing 3.5.18. They got stuck on the registration dialog and only the # key works.

tried ur method now can use ndrive without register
BUT cannot type when u try to find a place!
i think there are still some bugs inside

Oh really? That's very bad news.. Before posting here I sent the patch to a friend of mine and asked him to do a thorough test (since my 5800 doesnt have this problem). He said he was able to navigate and do everything.. I'll check with him later.

Unfortunately, I can confirm this on my E71x. After installing 3.5.18 using this method, the keyboard is still non-functional.
