i have HTC touch hd (blackstone) with TTN7 (7.915(9196)) and WCE 2GB 830.2306
It works well, but i can´t use mapshare (DL/UL corrections)

1st TThome2 did not find TTn7, but that was solved by copiyng 2 files: ttsystem and ttgo.bif from my TTONEv2 to SD-card on HTC (thnx scoiattolo49).

So now TThome recognize TTn7 on HTC (i have DL quickgpsfix and voices by TTHome), but i can not DL/UL mapshare corrections.

Can anyone help me?

So - TTHome MUST see your device, if you done everything right - http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showpost.php?p=2738725&postcount=5 - I wrote where TTNavigator MUST NOT be installed!

So - you MUST install TTNavigator into main memory (like original cab does) - then TTHome will see & update your map without probs!

Thnx for answer, however i allready had installed TTN7 in main memory, not on SD.card.
On SD-card is installed map WCE and voices and helpme-files.
Giving 2nd chance, I have reinstalled TTN7 to main memory on HTC touch HD, but with the same result. TThome2 not found the unit.

I have followed the instuctions and copied these files to rot of SD-card and renamed my WCE to Iberia.

Then I have started TTHome and heureka.
TTHome recognized my PDA as TTOne3rd and DL mapshare for WCE (not "Iberia") worked.
I tried to start TTN7 with WCE still renamed to Iberia and it worked perfectly.
So I think this is working.
Will try next mapshare uppdate tomorow.

BTW If you want to name your MAP-folder different from "Iberia" - you really can do this!
Then - give real path to your "new" map - and I'll generate 'golden file' to it - so TTHome will update your REAL map (not Iberia) :wave:

Hi, I think/hope it uppdates the real WCE not Iberia, because in TTHome it says DL and install corrections for WCE.
So Im happy whith this working solution (dont minde that i have renamed map to Iberia)

yea, TomTom don't for mapfolder name - you can name it as you like. Just TTHome searches for mapfolder named as described in CurrentMap.dat file

I have a similar problem with my HTC TyTn II. I have TomTom installed in a folder \programs\navigator on the SD card. Home did the Map Share work quite well for a while.

Since some time the map is not found when I try to update it. When I look up the contents of the device on Home all maps are duly displayed (there are four on the card). But this is all.

Can someboy tell me where exactlyt to copy these files mentioned above? I copied ttgo.bif, ttsystem and UserPatch.dat into the directory of the TomTom program. It did not do any harm - the program still runs. But it did not help either.

Just a small addition: when I start Home I do not get the message how long the map has not been updated and how many mapshare changes are available. In the past I got the message at once.

In real - copy content of your \programs\navigator on the SD card to \program files\navigator in main memory - TTHome will work

Install in main memory and conect activesync. It's simple.

Does anyone have the ttsystem and ttgo.bif files available?

I have a HTC Touch Pro 2 and can't get Tom Tom Home to register it (see http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=391273). I hope these files may help as mentioned by luddie28.

Mapshare/mapupdate works very well whith that "crack".

I always had mapshare/update working - was having problems registering my device with TomTom Home... Now Fixed!
