How to instal ttn7 on HTC touch HD:

download TTN7 7.915 (vga_black)
http://rapidshare.com/files/195437755/ttn7.915.9196.vga_black.cab

copy file to sd-Card and install it to main memory (not to sd-card)

This will install the navigation prg only (no maps, no voices).

* in rot of SD-card you can see ttnavigator.bif.
open this file with notpad/wordpad (when connected to PC) and find "DeviceUniqueID=xxxxxxxxxx"
Write down you units ID number. You need that for activating maps.

Go to http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthread.php?t=362584
and find our map version you want to use.
As you can see not all map version can be used with TTN7 on PDA-units, so check it carefully. (for best performance choose always smaller map, i.e less MB).

DL map and its meta-file.

Activate map with Albert's EasyActivator5 (follow instr. In that tread)

Disconnect from PC and start TTN7.

TT should work on your HTC touch HD.

(DONT use/start TTn7 when you are connected to PC)



For enable mapshare:

copy these files to rot of sd-card.
Rename your map-folder to Iberia (i.e if you have for example: Wester_and_central_Europe_830, rename that folder to Iberia)

Connect HTC to PC and start TThome2

Click for update.

Do not update/install new version of navigator (unclick that option, it is only for “real” car GPS), but scroll down till you see mapshare for your real map (ex: WCE) click that option and hit update button.
You can leave mapfolder renamed to Iberia, TTN7 still works.

works perfectly. some steps are redundant but better safe than sorry.

Using Albert's EasyActivator5 (see post #1) choose TT8key not TT7key for activating map (8.xx).

edit:
Western&Central Europe 2GB 8.35.2420 works fine with touch HD
and tt7.915_9196

Before uppdating to new map (i.e8.35) you have to remove/rename files you install from MS.CRK.rar
After installing the new map and testing it, reinstall MS.CRK.rar to rot of SD-card. MApshare will work then.
