Here's how you can your replace your default operator text with a custom oplogo...

1. Create a custom operator logo with dimensions 149x40 in your favourite image editor and save it as a 24 bit bitmap.

[Only registered and activated users can see links]'m not entirely certain about the dimension,if anyone else is please do let me know, and you can use 16 or 32 bit colour depth as well if you want.

2. Use bmconv ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) to convert your newly made bitmap file to mbm format using the following command.

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

[Only registered and activated users can see links] /c24 part is the colour depth here,if you are using a 32 bit bitmap use /c32.For simplicity paste the bmconv.exe and the bitmap file in your user folder since that is the default root folder in vista cmd prompt.

3. Rename the mbm file generated by bmconv in the following format.

[Only registered and activated users can see links] MCC and MNC codes are specific to each network, find your own here ([Only registered and activated users can see links]).

4. Transfer the mbm file to your phone and put it in C:\Private\10000850.

[Only registered and activated users can see links] part is easy and you don't even have to restart your phone.

5. Enjoy and showoff.

It doesn't work with me, I have v30... :< My operator code is 284-05... I convert and name the file Logo_284_05_OTA.mbm, and nothing happens, even after a reboot.

t00ny, I had the same problem, and resolved it by removing leading zeros from numbers. Rename your file to Logo_284_5_OTA.mbm
