this how to clear/remove recipients history from "To:..." in messaging;

1. use CapSwitch OFF
2. delete QMapp.ini (C:/Private/100051e3)
3. no need phone restarting or else, history instantly dissapear

this trick just temporary, just do above steps everytimes you want to clear/remove them

'Free up memory' in the swiss manager application does the same thing (and i think safer too).

Run your capswitch off, use x-plore to explore the file then delet it
