I have the last version of TomTom Navigator 7.916 from the HTC Touch PRO2 "Swisscom".

TTN 7.916

But dont function on the Diamond2.

If somebody can make a version to get function on the Diamond2, would be great.

Hmm - loaded on to my Touch Pro 2 which had 7.915 running and I now get 'unable to start. Not enough memory is available'... which is rubbish, as there is loads...

Doh, I forgot to copy the data.chk file too... works perfectly now!

Well, Tom Tom have fixed the compass problem - by removing the option to have it pointing anywhere except north!!!

yes I saw that, but no cab-files. Only the exe and chk file.

1. Does navigation to the contact work for anybody? Doesn't work for me.
2. Could anybody re-upload the original (non-patched non-cracked) files? Preferably whole cab, but exe only would be OK too.

Compass only pointing to north (I like point to where you're navigating to).

Sorry, it won't work on wince - the executable requires at least wince5.1 - what is actually wm5. So, wm5 and up.

chamaruco, I'm telling you that 7916 will not work on wince5. It is for wm5/wm6 only.

which cab did you install?

i install "ttn7.916.9189_vga_black_cuckoo.cab" and was full of hope that the audio prob was done :-(

I guess that the original patched cab would be right for your PDA, not the vga-black.

what rom version do you have?, maybe you need to update your D2 to new rom.
how many free ram do you have when run tomtom?

No, I didn't probe the previous version 7.915 yet. I'll get it and give it a try.
BTW, can I just install this TT-Nav directly under the SD root ? I had tried a lot this way, it allows me to install on SD, but when try to run it I always get this error message "Unable to start, Not enough memory is available." then exit.
So no luck till now, neither installing inside Device nor on SD be good.

Forgot to say this "how many free ram do you have when run tomtom?",
No other programs are running when I try TT, so only OS & TT will occupy the RAM resource, I suppose.

now i remenber: "Your device is not compatible this version of TomTom Navigator" is for install with htc cab installer, try VGA black cab installer (see in my thread) on main mamery, not on SD, and put the maps on SD.

The main memory has more speed than SD, and for use with Tomtom home via activesync only work if tomtom is in main memory, for update mapcheck.

try 1st with 7.916, if not work then try 7.915.

And is recomended that you update your rom, see in xda forums, there are roms very interesting and optimized that work better that original roms.

Navcore 7.916 (Qvga cabs) works ok with HP iPAQ 614c Business Navigator (WM 6) and map 835.2420 (GPS port on com6).
