Inspiron have WXGA screen & bigger HDD
Studio have WLED screen & better processor.
For normal Home use, the basic Inspiron comes with more memory than basic Studio.
Currently there is a 'saving' on this model here in UK, so check the website for your local deals.
That said, I'd personally get the Studio.. for the boosted performance of Dual Core and sharper screen.
Plus, its easy enough to add an HDD to expand storage.
The Inspiron uses a reduce set Celeron chip that, even with 1GB of extra memory, will not match the Studio.
However, it comes down to budget, ultimately.
Remember, you could accessorise with the extra cash to purchase a case, mini-mouse, etc... so appear to get more for your money.
online tends to be cheaper but you can haggle in a store.... to get those extras for free, or very little ;)

i have used both of them ..
1.if the person is a gamer n is willing to shell more on memory , gfx card n a lil more of style the studio 15 is worth it.. if jus for office use n minimal gaming the inspiron shld do it.. :)
2.secondly if u want it urgently get it from the vendor or book it online..
both the ways are kewl acc. to ur connvinence..
3. refer above post by my fellow mod suggesting u the pros n cons..
hope this helps !

I'd prefer Studio. Where to buy? Some finds it cheaper to buy online. But if your thinking of the warranty you would rather buy in a store near you.
