just close unistallation window with ""cancel"" and clear the cash file manualy
and everything is in program files of the program,and then soft reset your device!

even i had to do hard reset of my phone so i immediately deleted this stupid software from my phone.
WTF !!!
any one can press the "delete cache files" button by accident and end up doing a hard reset of his/her phone.
why do they even make such kind of software???

:hardcry:

I unistalled the beta 3 as suggested in Resco forum ... everything ok.
I suggest this procedure:
- delete installation photo viewer folder + shortcuts of it;
- for your security make a copy of your data;
- remove memory card + uninstall application from settings-->remove programs;
- SR;
- insert memory card again;
It's a mix of procedure suggested ... the more secure for me ... I've removed succesfully without problems on my data.

I suggest to remove the beta 3 from the post.
Bye

Resco Photo Viewer 7.00 Beta 4
Requirements: WM5-WM6.1
Overview: After a problem with the last Beta version we have released a new Beta version that doesn't cause such serious problems.

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

What is new:

* Added rotation using gesture (slide your finger up or down on the picture to rotate it). So far it rotates the picture without the live preview and on the whole display (not only in one corner or so) and after your suggestions we will adjust it.
* Notes are displayed correctly in fullscreen view.You can also display the information about the picture (name, resolution, size), but not notes and info at the same time (so far).
* Notes are saved to EXIF if set so.

Please note that beta testing is always a risky business. Beta releases are not tested so intensively as the version that will be released officially so there might be a serious problem. If you do have some sensitive data on your device, we don't recommend you to participate on the beta testing, or create a backup of your data and place it outside the device (on an external data storage or PC).

Does this cure the Clear Cache problem?

I don't know why e210ay163 added BETA VERSION 4 on the thread of BETA VERSION 3 as everyone will get confused about the cache issue!

e210ay163 can you open a FRESH thread with BETA VERSION 4 please. It will confuse less people, also will not give Resco a bad name.

This was the first time Resco made such an error, before that they were PERFECT.

ATTENTION: The Cache deleting error HAS BEEN FIXED. Beta 4 works well. I am using it and it seems fine.

Caution: It is common knowledge that Alpha & Beta versions of ANY product will have problems. It is upto the individual to take steps of backing up/ creating restore points before using ANY ALPHA / BETA Application.

If this version will expire, Why the name of file includes "crk.by.dasai"?
This means that all "crk by dasai" really are not cracked or regged?

I installed it on my HTC Touch with os wm6.5.
Unfortunately, immediately after opening the app, my phone automatically rebooted and all the data on my storage card disappeared.

I struggled for 3 days to recover the data and still could not.

Sounds like you cleared the cache when asked. On the first page is a warning regarding this as others have been burnt.
Beyond that flaw its a great app.

The issue mentioned in the first page was a beta 3 problem. On the official softwarehouse forum, the wrote that it was solved since beta 4.
The question is: which beta have you installed ?

I have still installed Resco Photo Viewer 7.00 Beta 3.
Do i have to uninstall it first and then to install Beta 6, or the uninstallation is going to be automatically if i start installing Beta 6?

Do i have to be careful about the Cache Deleting Bug, or it is fixed in this version?
