Hi,

Trying to get the Southern Africa 7.30 map i downloaded to work with my TomTom Go520......I have followed the "HOW TO Update your TomTom {TUTORIAL}" on this website but every time i finish it and TomTom reloads it just goes on a continuous boot cycle & i have to restore from backup to get it working again.

navcore: 8.351 (9982), patched with Albert's Easy Map
bootloader: 5.5120
map: Southern Africa v730.2001, keygenned with Albert's Easy Map

Am i right in saying that the v730 map will not work with 8.351 navcore??

If not then has anyone out there got the Africa map to successfully work? I could well be doing something wrong as i'm a bit wet behind the ears with all this.

This ain't an FAQ!

S Africa v730 (bought/paid for by ME), being the latest S Africa map WILL work on ANY PND.

Just read/search and/or try another tool.

Sorry you can move or delete this thread - had a few tabs going on browser & must have gone with wrong one.

Continuously rebooting generally means that you have an old config in your map.
If so, remove it.
